Honor 7X / Mate SE Case, TUDIA Slim-Fit Heavy Duty [Merge] Extreme Protection/Rugged but Slim Dual Layer Case for Huawei Honor 7X / Mate SE (Mint)

The product is excellent in many ways. Flexible, durable, shock resistant, fits great, nice design. Have dropped my phone 4 times now on hard surfaces, and no to little sign of this product being effected. Of course no damage to my phone.

Awesome case for a great price. I have purchased this case twice now. Once for my honor 7x and now for the mate se. It fit both phones perfectly. I have dropped my phone face down and other ways and my phone has stayed in great condition. It looks really nice too. I would highly recommend this case. I purchased it in both the black and the silver. They are true to color and are really soft but durable.

Pros: The case feels sturdy, matte back feels good and doesnt get fingerprint smudges at all. Case hugs phone tightly so goes good with a popsocket. Nice slope at fingerprint sensor for easy access. Good lip protection for camera lenses. Cutouts at bottom are good and doesnt interfere w/ headphone jack/charger/audio.Cons: SLIPPERY. Doesnt have a good grip at all, the little ridges on the side do next to nothing. Highly recommend getting a metal ring or a popsocket with the case. Corners feel rather stiff and dont think it'll protect well from a drop where it lands corner first. Worst of all-- NONEXISTENT LIP PROTECTION FOR PHONE SCREEN. In terms of screen protection w/ lip, the tudia tamm case is superior (tamm also has way better diamond pattern knurls for really good grip). The only plus this case has over tamm is it hugs phone tightly and provides a bit more protection bc it's thicker but not by much. Just doesnt feel flexible enough to absorb shock from falls.UPDATE: popsocket/rings dont work on it bc its back has silicone components to it. phone is very slippery with little to no grip. I highly recommend the tudia tamm over this one which is far grippier. Its better to frely on a grippy phone case that can prevent drops rather than a somewhat durable case that can only absorb some damage

I can’t believe this case is only $9, that is a steal! Out of all the cases I’ve seen so far for this phone, I think this is the nicest looking one of the bunch.The case seems like it will provide overall decent protection; there is a settle lip around the display, which allows you to lay your phone down face flat, and should provide okay protection for front facing drops, however, don’t feel too safe if it’s a nice rocky road or path. The protection for the sides, and back seem strong enough for any accidental drop. Of course, I haven’t dropped my phone, (knock on wood) nor do I want to do a test drop, for obvious reasons.The case is really comfortable, especially for the price range. There is no rough cut outs, or edges, which you might see from other cheaper TPU cases. The case makes holding the Honor 7x a lot more comfortable, I feel like the phone by it self is just to sharp around the edges to hold for long periods, but the case adds a nicer curve around the edges of the phone, giving it a better fit in the palm of the hand.Cutouts for all the ports are nicely aligned, and I really like the cut out for the fingerprint reader, it makes for a nice dimple to help hold the more comfortably. The button covers still provide the nice clicky feel for the power and volume buttons as well.The design for the case looks really nice, and simple; the two color tone should also assist me in finding my phone when I randomly lay it somewhere… I’m really good at losing my phone on my dark colored furniture, or on my black blanket on my bed...

When I first put this case on my Mate SE I thought it fit very well and was very nice. But when I picked up the phone to leave my house I suddenly felt very insecure about it because the case was too slippery in feel to give an adequate grip if I weren't paying attention. The generic case that Huawei includes with the phone is better in that regard.

The case feels good in my hands and isn't bulky. It's really easy to put on (and take off) of your phone, which is a plus for me since I've had some cases where it's a struggle to do either. The case itself feels really durable, even though it's really thin.

I could talk about the fact that this case is cute and fits perfectly, but honestly, what you want most is for it to protect your phone and that it DEFINITELY does!! I set my phone on the back of my husband's car so I could put some groceries away. Unfortunately, I forgot about my phone and he left in his car. We found the phone later that night in the middle of a main road.i fears the worst!! The case was all scratched up and looked like it had been through with a bit, but my phone was just fine! That is what I call a good case!!!

I was looking for a non bulky, shock absorbing case since I am a very active person but drop my phone alot, I also usually am sticking my phone in my pocket instead of a purse. Material is definitely firmer and less flexible than the usual silicone cases I have purchased in the past, and feels very durable as a result. locations of the holes are all accurate, and the hole for where you can use the finer print scanner is on a bit of a gradient so it is easier to press your finger on the scanner, instead of trying to poke it and get the entire fingerprint to scan. Even though the material is a firm rubber/plastic, the power and volume buttons are EASY to press, unlike my last case where I had a difficult time practically using the buttons. Texture is nice and soft to touch, and so far it doesn't seem to hold grime. I do think that external accessories using an adhesive may have a difficult time staying on if the adhesive isnt strong, but it does not matter to me. I also use a magnetic phone mount in my vehicle, and the case is thin enough for the magnets to work under it. I would purchase again.

This case is MUCH better quality than I anticipated. I wasn't sure about it, but the strength it has is awesome. I'm known for dropping my phone and this case is stronger than the typical flimsy plastic case that many people have. It's a thicker material that is strong but also doesn't make the phone bulky at all. It's still a very slim phone but it's clear that it is well protected in this case. I was also concerned that the metallic back would be slippery and would make it harder for my butter fingers to keep a hold of, but that's not the case (heh heh.) It's wonderful, I really recommend getting this case for your Honour 7X.

Hell of a product. Perfect fit, robust construction, lovely apprearance. A bit heavy but that too feels nice for some reason. Simply exquisite. Kudos to TUDIA. 🙏
