This company came through for me...when I ordered this waffle iron, I did not use it during the original 30 Amazon Return period, so when it did not heat up hot enough to cook a crispy, light waffle, I was so disappointed and emailed the company's customer service desk to request a refund...they said that any refund would have to come from the company where I purchased the item, so I explained that the Amazon window was closed and how did they honor the year warranty that was in the product information...and luckily, they were willing to replace the item and I didn't even have to return it because it did not get hot enough...the new one arrived quickly and I have used it. This one does heat up and makes a good waffle, it takes longer than it should, about 10 minutes to cook a waffle when it should take just 5, but the company was true to their word and made good on the product! Kudos to them and thanks customer support help desk people!!

La sandwichera Ovente me pareció fenomenal. Tiene dos luces indicadoras, roja y verde, y esta última te avisa cuando el pan está listo, lo cual me parece muy útil. Funciona perfectamente y cumple con todas mis expectativas.Es ideal para preparar un desayuno rápido o una rica merienda por la noche. Los sándwiches quedan bien cocidos, crujientes y deliciosos. Además, es súper fácil de usar y de limpiar, lo cual valoro mucho en la cocina del día a día.Muy recomendable si buscas algo práctico y funcional.

What a great panini press for this price! Have used it numerous times and it makes great paninis each time. There is no timer but it never burns the panini! I was able to make 15+ sandwiches at a graduation party and it never failed. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a panini maker. It's the best!

First of all the cons:1. There's no on/off switch.2. No locking mechanism to keep it closed while storing away.3. The power cord is much longer than is needed, almost 18inches. Why not have a socket and force users to buy a 36 inch long extension cord?4. Red light green light mysteries. Green light off it's ready for use? Green light cycles on and off normally, sometimes red light is on, mostly red light is off.5. No built in timer, so if shut on a sandwich you had better set a kitchen timer or you could burn it.6. Seems to take a lot of time to get to temperature.7. Drip tray could be larger. A steak or several ground meat patties might have considerably more fat than expected.8. No adjustment for temperature.9. Plates are not removable for cleaning and unit can't be submerged in water to clean.Pros :1. Cost is low.2. Flat and open, large enough to cook on, both halves drain into the one drip pan.3. Cheap nonstick surface actually worked well for me.4. Small lightweight, can be packed for use while traveling.5. Probably would be great at warming tortillas instead of bread.I picked this over many others, after reading a lot of reviews. This seemed to be a good option to me, but as you see from the list of cons, I could have chosen more better because this is far from perfect. The hinge is the main complaint for me. I wanted a sandwich maker that could be opened flat for burgers or dogs, yet would allow a sandwich to be toasted by accommodating the thicker dimensions with a "floating " hinge, and this won't do that, pinching the sandwich between the plates instead. If you are serious about toasting sandwiches, you want to pass this by. It does work ok, and as a flat grill it should be great, but watch the amount of fat in the drip tray especially when you cook bacon or other fatty foods.2. Lights are confusing but look nice.3. Lays flat open to use as a flat grill surface.

It does the job, easy to use and clean, super fast, for the price is perfect. I have for a month already and it has hold up well so I said it is very durable. I don’t know if the plate are removable because I have had no need to remove them. I like it specially for the price.
