I ordered the Topai 12V, COB LED warm white, 3000K light strip for some mood lighting in my bathroom. I found the quality of the lighting very good. For those that want to know, the total wattage output of this strip is about 55 watts or so, when using the entire strip. But, it can be cut, and the wattage will lower proportionately to the size of your cut strip. This is important if you want to install a dimmer with it. You must purchase a separate 12V universal triac driver/dimmer (20 watts) and hook it up using 12V wire in order to dim the lights. I purchased the suggested Leviton dimmer to install on the wall, and it works very well from low to high brightness. I would say the 3000K warm white color is spot on...it's not too yellow, and not "office" white color either. When the dimmer is all the way up, the lighting emits a very bright lumen, and when it's dimmed, of course, it's softer and sets more of a mood. It has a rating of IP65, which makes it waterproof, and the light itself is covered with a silicone membrane....but still, if you will be installing near water, please make sure you have it attached to a GFCI outlet of some sort...even though this is low voltage, better to be safe. The CRI (color rendering index) of above 90 is excellent, which means it will portray colors more accurately than with a lower CRI. Most experts will say anything 90 and over is great...so those expensive colored blue tiles will look blue, and not green or gray! I believe the total footage of this strip is about 16.4 feet, and can be cut approximately every inch. I thought it was reasonably priced compared to some others, and I think the manufacturers description accurately depicts the quality of the light. It arrived quickly in good shape. I am not an electrician, and I did have my electrician help me with this project, but I feel it was straight forward enough for any experienced DIYer to install this. It can get a bit trickier if you want to use a dimmer, but just buy the driver with the proper specs, and it should work well together. Remember to adjust the wattage needs to the size strip you cut...and make sure the driver's total wattage is not too high, and not too low for the output of your particular sized light strip. At first, I purchased a 60 watt driver, (for about a 5 inch cut strip) which was too high and caused problems with the dimmer. I then purchased a more "matched" driver with about only 20 watts which worked better because the cut strip now had lower wattage then its original state of 16.4 feet. I feel the effort was worth it and highly recommend.

Super bright and easy to install

I bought these seeing as they are waterproof to use as underglow for my car. All the "pre-made" brand name kits are super expensive and use low end materials, but charge the premium price. This was a super great alternative. Light output is crazy bright. You'll definitely blind yourself if you power them on while looking directly at them (ask me how I know). I've had these under my car for 3 months now with no issues. Adhesion was great, but I cleaned the surface and use a heat gun to heat up the adhesive before sticking on. Would love to see them add an RGB option!

Incredible diffusion very very bright looks like it's on fire at night I use it for motorcycle tailights holding up awesome 3 months Plus those auto store bulbs 20$ a piece this can replace that for years for everybody in the neighborhood cut em into 3 inch sections amazing value

Used to make a custom address sign. Work great! Lots of lights. Long long strip. They are so Bright and white. Waterproof, malleable yet strong and durable. Great price! Love them.

These lights are amazing! Extremely bright and looks like a solid line of white just a couple feet away. They are very flexible but try not to bend if you can. Right bends will cause some dots to dim or quit working. Have your surface prepped well ahead of time and take your time to apply these for a good bond and long life

Installed this light strip in a cupola, very difficult spot to access. Worked perfectly for five months (lit on five hours per day). After five months, got very dim. Thinking (hoping) maybe I had a bad transformer, I replaced the transformer unit with no change. Now I have a major job replacing a strip that should have lasted years. Absolutely cannot recommend.

Look amazing and easy to install.

I used this product to replace the burnt out LED strip in my travel trailer awning. It was a great replacement that did not take a lot of effort.
