We had a popular brand doorbell camera that broke and decided to replace it with an Arlo. At purchase, I was a little skeptical of the Arlo because it is half the price of other name brands. Since install, I could not be more pleased with the product. Installation is easy and the app provides step by step installation instructions. The app interface for using the device is simple and superior to the other brand we had. Image quality and function of the device are both excellent. In short, don't buy any other brand because you would be wasting your money. Buy an Arlo.

It’s a clean design and super simple to setup. The charge holds well and they quickly release when you do need to charge them. The picture is clear in both day/night.

I just installed this last night in a few minutes, I had my equipment on 5G so I had problems until I got everything changed to 2.4ghz again. Ideally, I will also get a dual-band with a dual network to run both simultaneously. This video clip is at night so it's black and white, but the clarity and wide coverage are great. I mounted this inside a secure bracket that uses adhesive tape instead of skews, which I don't like to invade wood trim with, and it is holding strong so no one will grab it and run, but even if they do, the Arlo subscription provides theft replacement. The device itself is a very solid camera, not a light and cheap feeling. It was simple to set up, an important must first step is to make sure your router and phone are set to 2.4ghz or it will not connect period. Then put the camera on a charger, download the Arlo app, and get that installed, then just stand by the camera and follow the instructions to set up the camera. Check the battery is at 100 percent and install your camera where you want it. I am not replacing my doorbell which is not in a good location as it faces another wall, so I have mine attached to my door trim which is at a slight 45-degree angle but as you can see it captures both sides and down the entryway across the street you see my neighbors house very clearly. They have several plans monthly and annually too. The top tear offers 24/7 external monitoring like ADT does with police alert which you can get a home insurance deduction for to offset the subscription price which is very reasonable and includes unlimited cameras and 30 days of cloud storage. It's Alexas compatible too. If someone presses the button they can talk to you too, It's a complete package. It also recognizes if it's a person and sends you a notification so you can watch it just tap the notification and it shows the video clip without having to go to the app big plus. There is a momentary delay of course, but you can switch to ive view too. It has it all. I bought their cameras a while back just hadn't had them installed yet, I will do that soon. I like they don't need batteries because that gets expensive over time and they usually don't last long. I am finding I don't get the video notification until after the person who has like dropped off my food or packages at the door, until after they are gone and and I don't see anyone, but I can go to the app and review clips and find them, how much good does that do when you have to hunt for it and their long gone now. I also have a problem if my phone is locked. When I click the video notification, I have to unlock it to see the video clip; I don't have that problem with the Blink doorbell on another property.

Really great camera, good images, easy to set up. Subscriptions aren't cheap at 10bucks min start but the camera gives great extra security for a live feed.the subscription allows you to record and save every capture, change the length of recording, the field of vison ,and noght vison options. Battery on full charge lasts up to a week or more before taking it down to recharge.(but you can hard wire it in to your elec supply) simple free app to use it. Would recommend as a starter

Works well. The size is large but this allows me to clear bricks! I did add spacers with an angle to give better stability & control to what I can see! The doorbell works great and even picks up when people approach to ring! When ring it does provide a direct connection with your phone with Bluetooth! Mine is wired so no batteries required! The picture quality is good! I also use a base station and have the Chimebox both are blue tooth! The chime box does plug in and provides several ringtones!

This Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) and Chime 2 bundle has worked flawlessly since installation. Love this! Much better than dealing with other manufacturer's issues. Simple to set up, videos are good and so much simpler to set up with Alexa which shows photos immediately. I am NOT tech savvy so have not yet been able to figure out 2 way conversation but sure others could do so easily. Really like this one!! The generis solar unit also takes brain work out of recharging.

We already have experience with a Ring doorbell. The picture is not that clear for things that are 50 feet away. I installed this Arlo on an elderly friend's house. She had low voltage, wired doorbells at the front and back doors (one circuit) AND she needed a clear picture (4k) to see details about 50 feet away. This product fit the bill and the wires kept the battery charged. I was not disappointed with the great picture. The disappointing part of this was that while I could install both doorbells with working video, the audio (bell) would not work on both units - only one at a time. The app could not fix it or diagnose the problem (costs 1 star). I needed to do an internet search and found that the transformer in the bell needed to be stronger. Not a terrible situation (+$30 at Lowes) but it would have been impossible for her to troubleshoot this. Otherwise, I think this is a great product with great features, at a great price point compared to the other door bells on the market.

Even though I bought this from the Australian site it arrived with a US plug. So you would need to have a place to have the chime where you can plug it in with an adapter. And they also don't include an adapter so that is an extra expense making it not a very good price on this site.

The doorbell works very nicely, the software is customisable, and the subscription fee is very reasonable!

i receive the product but it wasn't new! and doesn't work in Saudi arabia.
