UPDATE JUNE 19, 2025:A rep from the company reached out to me after seeing my initial review. They were very polite and professional and they resolved the issue I had, good on them for this follow-up. Even though I had the initial issue, I would definitely buy from them and give this company another chance after this excellent follow-up customer service. They stood behind their productOriginal Review:I didn't know what to expect at a low prices, but here's what I got. The braid on this cable is something like a cheap cosmetic covering. Right out of the package the braid was frayed and just missing from spots. The connector on one end doesn't click into the jack on my Dell Optiplex, it just sort of make contact by being pushed in, but with a very slight tug or really just a brush of the hand, it'll pop right out.I'm only keeping it as I had to get this computer wired up on a free night I had, but in any other case I'd have returned it. Very low quality.

Great for gaming and streaming
My husband loves this cable. The speed he gets now with his streaming and gaming after upgrading to this cable is almost double. The cable is great quality and braided so it’s durable. Will definitely order again if and when it goes out

Best bang for your buck!
THIS is the great low cost option you are looking for! I was on the edge of getting it considering just how much more affordable it is compared to the other options, however, I have been running gigabit over 50ft consistently with zero issues! The Smolink braided cable not only looks great, but works just as good!

Great Wire, CAT 8?
These work great, but 50ft of CAT 8 for $10, thats pretty cheap. I question if this is actually CAT 8. I can confirm that it connects my 2.5 GbE switch to my 2.5 GbE computer.

It works great. It got my download and uploaded speeds from the low 300s to the high 900s. 3X the speed for a $15 cable is a no brained. And if you don’t think so then **** you
