Very comfortable
The first pair was small and tight BUT these shoes run small - so I measured my foot and realized I needed to order a pair a size and a half larger and they are a perfect fit, like walking on a cloud and yes I will buy another pair or more. No foot pain at all. Jan G

More than I wanted to spend, but worth every penny
I have gout and arthritis, and my feet are always swollen and painful. Getting shoes on or off can be a painful adventure. These are the easiest to put on and take off shoes I've ever owned. No pain, comfortable to walk in. And they are light. I wish I had bought these years ago. The size was accurate to the chart.

Works well with swollen feet
This is the 4th pair of shoes that I've tried after purchasing and returning 3 other pairs. The style of the velcro closure on this pair works well with swollen feet. Based on the feedback of other reviewers, I ordered a size 11 x-wide. (I normally wear a 10 wide. Amazon had recommended a size 11 wide.) Glad I order the extra wide. The length is a good fit; the wide toe box provides proper room for my feet. (Like many of these types of shoes, they are made in China; that may explain why sizing is problematic.) But most important, the style of the velcro closure works really well. Instead of a cross strap, this closure combines the tongue of the shoe with the velcro fasteners. The velcro closure fastens to both sides of the shoe. This approach better bridges the swollen top of the foot. This shoe doesn't feel any heavier than other fabric-topped sneakers that I own (and which no longer fit because of the edema). My only reason for not giving this pair of shoes a 5-star rating is because I don't know how well they will wear.

Easy to put on.
These worked well for my dad who was 89 and had swelled feet. Looked good and light weight, he said they were comfortable. Price suckes though.

The most comfortable show I have ever worn.
I have had pain in my back for years caused by a herniated disk that pinches a nerve on a disc on my spine. Recently, I took a bad fall and fell flat on my face and wasn't able to cushion my fall with my hands. As a result, this heightened the pain in my back that made it difficult to walk and I had to use a cane or a walking stick. I wore the shoes yesterday and my balance has returned and I can walk without any assistance. I ordered on size bigger shoe than my regular shoes and 4E since I have wide feet. The shoes fit perfectly and today I am walking normally without a cane and the shoes also have reduced the pain in my back.

Problem Solver Shoes..... that work for swollen feet
These shoes are fantastic for my 92 yr old dad who is dealing with edema in his ankles and feet.We were limited to bedroom shoes (only one style) to wear. The problem with that was when we elevated his feet the bedroom shoes would fall off. These shoes solved all our problems. Thank you for the reviews that described how easily these shoes were to adjust. I highly recommend them. The total top section opens to allow you to easily insert your foot. The velcro on each side allows you to adjust the snugness to keep the shoe stable and comfortable. This is so great because you can control the pressure applied to the foot when you wear different thickness of socks. These shoes are also easy for my dad to put on (or) take off without needing assistance.

FitVille Diabetic Shoes for Men
Considering how much diabetic shoes can cost, I feel that there is definitely a place for FitVille's less expensive shoes in the market. However, the shoes I got were about a half size to a size too small; so I returned them. The toe box also felt a little cramped; but that may have been because of the smaller size generally. As you might expect from a less expensive shoe, the inner lining wasn't all that comfortable and there was little padding around the ankle. The design was good; and the sole seemed as though it might wear well. If they had fit better, I would have kept them.

Width is great for very swollen feet.
They are very light weight and plenty wide enough. Comfortable to walk in too.

While it's a good purchase, it's not as good as the regular FitVille with shoelaces
I have wide feed and it's really difficult to find shoes in North America. It's simply genetics and nothing to do with a medical condition. Wide feet are a little more common among Asians than Caucasians. Ideally, I need 5e or 6e shoes, but I typically have to settle for 4e in North America.FitVille is one of the few companies that sells good shoes for wide feet over here. I have their regular walking shoes with shoelaces and I love it. I gave that one 5 stars. These ones with a hook-and-loop fastener are convenient and they get the job done as slip-on shoes for short distances. I'm deducting 2 stars because the ridge of the strap that closes the top of the shoes seems to dig into the top of my feet a bit and it can get a little uncomfortable. I much prefer their regular extra wide walking shoes that come with shoelaces. I'll be buying another pair of those once they next go on sale. Overall, I don't regret the purchase and I wouldn't bother to return the shoes.
