These are just load cells, no amplifier board
These are just the load cells, with no HX711 amplifier board. You will typically need the HX711 amplifier board to interpret the output from the load cell. If you have one of these, then there are a lot of online tutorials to show you how to use these. One of the best projects you can make with these is a 3D printer filament weight sensor, which estimates how much filament is left on the spool, in real time while you’re printing. It’s very cool, and the reason I got these. The load sensors seem well made, and well labeled with the load direction, and standard color coded wires. Overall, 5 stars, but I wish it came with the HX711 amplifier.

HX711 Breakout Board FIX
Ok, there's about a million of these things out there and there's no telling which have been engineered from the datasheets and which have been copied, and badly. This one is one of those bad copies, I think. To test, check for a connection between E- and GND. If there is a connection then you have a good board. If not, a connection needs to be made. The entire bottom side of the board is a GND plane so clear a spot by scraping the green coating down to copper next to the E- via bottom side and add a solder bridge. Done. By the way, the only way to increase the sample rate above 10 SPS without an external oscillator is to desolder pin 14, bend it up and solder bridge pins 15 & 16. Pin 15 with VCC switches 80 SPS mode.

LOAD CELLS DO NOT WORK
Load cells arrived broken, output values do not change at all from input force.

Easy to use
These worked great and were easier to use than I thought. Documentation on internet was easy to follow as these seem to be pretty standard. I have not calibrated to see how linear they are.

DO NOT BUY!
SCAM. AVOID. LOAD CELLS DO NOT WORK AT ALL!

I am using for coffee brewing as weight checking with auto shut off. Sensitivity and accuracy are good compare to the price. Highly recommend

Ubiquitous aluminum loadcells. Nothing to look at, but they work well when connected to a quality A/D converter.

I bought these for a filament scale project I am building. This is to help determine how much filament is remaining on a spool before committing to a print. The load cells and the boards arrived in good packaging. Both cells worked flawlessly. Darn good value for the money! I'd recommend them to others looking at using them for their projects.
