The OFFICIAL controller for PC gaming - Totally worth it!
The absolute best controller for the PC! Wireless, passes audio(so you can plug your headphones into it and listen) and just feels right in my hands. The best part is, since the Xbox controller IS the official controller for PC gaming, every game has it pre-set and ready to go! No messing around with dumb drivers to get the PS controllers working, or suffering through whatever that Steam Controller is trying to be; just works just like it would on the Xbox series of consoles...

The best controller for PC gaming
I've been needing a controller to play some games on PC and this is probably the best controller for the money that you can get for PC. I've been playing video games all my life so I've listed a couple of the things that I've noticed leave an impact on gamers. Pros: -Long lasting charge (I've been playing for 3 days at around 4-5 hours/day and it hasn't died yet) -Very ergonomic & comfortable in your hand, much more so than Playstation controllers -Very smooth analog sticks and triggers, much smoother than the Playstation's analogs and triggers -Buttons aren't too sticky like old generations -Buttons are all tactile and register nice clicks on presses -Perfectly compatible with Windows 10 & Steam so setup and configurability was a breeze -Controller is textured, so your hands get a good grip on the controller -The way the batteries are removable on these controller is nice because you can swap rechargeable battery packs instead of having to plug in your controller. This is a big plus over the Playstation controllers I think. Cons: -Takes AA batteries, but you can put battery packs in the controller instead of batteries and just use rechargeable battery packs. IMO the controller should have battery packs instead of AA batteries, but battery packs can be bought off Amazon for ~$20 so it's not a big deal, and they let you charge one battery while you play using the other battery and just swap them. Conclusion Quality controller that has a better battery design, ergonomics, and controls than most of the competition and is easily compatible with PC's. It's a win in my book.

GREAT CONTROLLER!!! Will buy more!
Honestly, this is my favorite controller of all time. Before this controller it was definitely the Xbox 360 controller due to the ergonomics of the controller, that felt so good in the hand and on the wrists. I really hate the way the thumbsticks feel on the PlayStation controller so I have always steered away from using those controllers. The plug-and-play aspect and the fact that you can hook up multiple controllers and have a sit-down with your family, on a couch, with split screen, is honestly so cool. Also fun fact is if your PC has Bluetooth, hold the little button on the top, and look for "Xbox Controller Input" in the Bluetooth settings. I lost my little dongle piece and it will still connect to my gaming PC wirelessly. The plastic has a nice grippy feels with these Tony little bumps where your fingers grab. The thumbsticks have a very nice grip that has a really nice texture to keep the thumbs from slipping. Very well built, sturdy, controller that will last

The best gamepad for a PC
I have a gaming PC hooked up to my TV for relaxing gaming (ie I'd rather using a wireless controller for convenience vs using a wired gaming mouse to get better performance). This lets me using the ubiquitous Xbox one controller wirelessly with my various games. Thus I can play Madden, Forza, FAr Cry etc... like I'm on a console, but with a 1080TI. Anyway, it's plug and play, and it works with any Xbox One controller. The dongle is much more compact that what they used to use, and performance is solid. Supposedly this won't work on WIndows 8 or 7. I cannot verify, but it works great on Windows 10 Pro.

if you are going to get a pc controller..make it an xbox one controller
I will be blunt...I hate microsoft. I hated when they got into gaming I've hated almost everything they have ever done in gaming...that being said...this seems to be an exception. while this controllers analog sticks are probably the weakest feature they work well enough. Where I was really impressed was with the considerations made for the end user. having a AA battery pack may seem like a bad idea at first but with rechargeable AA batteries this is obviously the ideal solution for no downtime and gets rid one of the most common points of failure for most controllers. the battery. The wifi dongle included with the controller works well I have never had an issue. I also rather enjoy being able to turn any pair of headphones into wireless headphones via the plug on the bottom. it's honestly a better solution then actual wireless headphones. no more worries about having to make sure the headset is charged up. interference with other wireless devices or having to deal with a cord stretched over your play space. the one complaint I have is the analog sticks. it mostly seems like in this department they are going backwards on purpose to make the "elite" controller more valuable. these sticks don't feel as graceful or precise as previous xbox controllers I have used so I can only conclude this is intentional since quality sticks are not a make or break to the cost of manufacturing. These feel like one step up from Mad Katz. so it cost them a star.

Works great when installed on Windows 10. Windows 7 needs a usb cable connection.
I think this is a great controller for gaming. A small hassle uninstalling the driver and un plugging the reciever, restarting windows and plugging it back it to get it to work on Windows 10. But once it was up and running not one issue. I'm sorry to hear all the trouble on the Windows 7 platform. Apparently in the description on the box it explains you need a usb cable connection for it to work properly so there's no wireless connection for Windows 7 users. But for me it works better than any off brand controller.

Decent controller. I read a lot of reviews where people complain about it's durability, well I'm sorry to say all controllers break if you aren't careful with them. It Syncs up with Win10 pretty good, you just need to press the sync buttons on both the controller as well as the USB Dongle. To note, people say that it doesn't officially support Win7 but the fact is the OS doesn't officially support the controller. You will probably need some drivers which I'm sure you can get from Microsoft's site. I would use my PS4 controller in games on PC but the mapping is made for XboxOne these days. Also, you get a USB cable that you can use as an extender for the USB dongle (in case you don't want to plug the dongle directly into your PC/Laptop or if they are too far away). It doesn't come with a Micro USB cable, but they do give you 2 AA batteries. If you want to get the battery pack that goes inside this controller you'll want to make sure you have a cable that you can use to charge it with.

Comprei vários controles antes deste e todos estragavam. Resolvi pagar um pouco mais e comprar este original da Mircosoft. Estou extremamente satisfeito com o produto.
