The PuroAir 240 HEPA Air Purifier for Home-Large Rooms worked very well for my space. I noticed a distinct difference in my air quality after about a week of consistent use. I have allergies to dust, and my house is normally very dusty, no matter how often I dust surfaces. Since purchasing this air purifier and changing my furnace filter regularly, I've seen improvement in the air quality in my home. The sound of this PuroAir 240 HEPA Air Filter is noticeable when it's on, and it gets a little louder when bad air quality is detected (ex. smoking and burning smells when cooking). The sound isn't too loud, and the noise level is tolerable. There is a sleep mode that operates quietly if you'd like to use it in a bedroom. It's easy to change the air filters, it's an attractive unit, and its size makes it easy to place it in many places comfortably in your home. I'm pleased with this air purifier, as it has helped me with my allergies!

This is a beautiful and efficient appliance that takes care of the air quality for me. It’s sleek appearance mirrors its performance. While moving into an older condo, stale odors resurfaced. As my belongings were unboxed from months in storage, I saw the PuroAir kick into action. The air quality light would change from green to yellow. Once the air was cleaned, the light would return to green. I like that. It has several speeds and options, but I simply turned it on, and turned it up to get the job done. It’s very quiet. I don’t realize it’s on. There’s a HUGE filter that covers the entire side of the unit. I feel like this design is top notch. 5 stars!

This filter is quiet, compact, and powerful. It really does make the air feel cleaner, which is great for someone like me who has allergies. It's really easy to set up and use, though I don't know yet how easy it is to install a new filter.

Bought at 5AM, delivered by 10AM. I opened the first one, read the simple instructions and setup the Puroair air purifier. That took almost 3 minutes after opening the box. Set it up in the living room after vaccuming the rug (got a lot of cat hair out). Plugged it in, it cycled through the setup as promised and then turned it on. Living room auto run, and green almost immediately (that vacum does a great job). Setup the second in the bedroom and after it cycled through its setup, I turned it on. I had not vaccumed the bedroom and the 240 immediately went to red. After a few minutes, it went to orange then green. I guess the air next to my bed is now OK to breath! Easy setup, seems like they are both running well, quiet when green (cannot hear them without standing over them), air flow is nice. Yes they have a plastic body but they are not high priced and I hope to have them running everyday.

Worked well to start with then kept cutting out, contacted suppliers but wouldn’t refund as I am in the UK.contacted Amazon and they refunded me

The product is lightweight cheap plastic. The company ship to the UK yet the device requires a voltage step-down unit to cope with the 110V rated USA device. Company either dumb or dishonest. Factor in additional £50-100 for device to step down UK 240V. So far not seen source for replacement HEPA filters on Amazon either.

Bought it on amazon.es assuming that it would work here. Unfortunately it does not and have to send it back! I wish the seller had mentioned US plug 120v in the description
