Star of Bethlehem , which is a listed ingredient, is toxic. I was excited to try this but upon researching Star of Bethlehem (ornithogalum umbellatum) every single scientific website lists this as a toxic plant that should never be ingested. This is from RXlist . com but there are dozens of others confirming the same thing: “Side Effects Star of Bethlehem is UNSAFE to use as a medicine. It contains powerful chemicals called cardiac glycosides. These chemicals are similar to the prescription drug digoxin. This product should not be used without close medical supervision due to potentially life-threatening side effects such as irregular heartbeat.” Please take caution & do research before using this.
