Can I use this in the laundry?

Should you run abrasives through your laundry? That depends on whether you are dreaming of a brand new washer but can't justify buying it until the current one is dead.

Is water required like most soaps or does this work like hand sanitizer straight out of the bottle?

Scrub your hands to clean them using the product only, then rinse clean using water. Using with water like you normally do with common soap will reduce the cleaning ability of the abrasives in the product. Use it wrong and it's average, use it correctly and it's grease and oil cleaning magic.

Does it help with fish or Shrimp smelling hands?

Get a block of stainless steel and use it like a bar of soap to remove those smells. I think that these days enough people know this trick that someone probably sells a stainless soap bar. If you do not have a bar use stainless steel silverware.

Gojo vs Fast Orange ?

i have been a user of the fast orange for years. Recently I needed a new jug and was appalled by the after use smell. So much so i washed my hand twice to get rid of the odor. I returned that container and bought another from a different store. Much better but still left an unpleasant lingering odor. it did eventually dissipate after an hour or so
