I use 2 of these on my lights. Versatile and great value.

As another reviewer mentioned, this isn't really designed for a boom stand. It's definitely meant for human hands. I would use with a minimal lighting kit. It folds up nicely, and works best with 60cm (~2 foot) round reflectors.I plan on using it for portraits with a single light in a tight space at work. The subject will be holding the reflector.

Reaches a long way? Check. Plenty of flexibility? Check. Holds firmly? Not a chance. Though the tubes are aluminum and reasonably well built, the entire rest of the thing is plastic. Plastic clamps, levers, knobs... It's flimsy and delicate. Creaky too. The clamps don't hold worth a ... You need to balance your load perfectly or it will just droop at the worst possible moment. Living proof of "you get what you pay for".

It's works well and makes the relector more versatile.

It's ok for small or medium reflectors. I wouldn't recommend this product for larger reflectors, which is what I bought it for. I bought if for my 5in1 50x70 and the holding brackets are so poorly constructed I'm afraid it will break. There's NO WAY anyone's going to be able to hold a reflector with this thing without those cheap holders breaking. I'm also irate that it won't even fit into my boom stand, which is also Limo Studio. I should have just bought the holding attachments for my light stand,

sturdy and olds the difusser very well. good value for the amount paid.
