BEST CHEAP CHEST RIG ON THE MARKET!
This thing is fantastic. It has Molle everywhere. It comes with 6 mag holders. It’s got a water pack. It’s got a chest pouch. It has all of your basic needs and it does it without any of the bulk. For 55 bucks you absolutely can’t beat it. The way it ties and snaps together is super effective. The fitment is great. I would give this ten stars if I could. If you’re looking for a cheap option without sacrificing capability, this is the best on the market. Hands down would trust it with my life.

Great product with great features at a great price
This is my second Condor Outdoor Modular Chest Rig that I have owned. I got rid of my first one to buy a more expensive, higher end, chest rig with plate carriers. Long story short, I realized that the Condor chest rig (even without the armor plates) was a great product and decided to return to the Condor. It has great features and can be customized in so many ways, I love the built in bladder pouch, it’s extremely comfortable, has great stitching and durability, and is very lightweight even after loading it with magazines and other tactical gear ( dump pouch, hydration bladder, pistol magazine, medical bag/ supplies, and various other items you may choose to install). For a “budget brand”, Condor does not disappoint!

Definitely for the hardcore
This is an extremely rugged harness. I volunteer in relief for the homeless that shelter in the deep woods, so carrying all the odds and ends from the beaten path out to east bumfuck can b a torteous drag. This harness is well balanced and I had two large condor pouches, a one quart molle that houses my poncho, and a para-x molle that I keep tools in. The side Velcro pouches were great for stuffing full of cargo tape, 55 gallon drum liners, and space blankets, but unfortunately we're not accessable while wearing the vest. The sternum molle has a Velcro pocket that I kept a bug net for my head as well as uses as a cradle for my cellphone. The product is a little too rugged imo. I need something a little lighter, possibly just a condor gun belt. If I was building a bug out bag out of a load bearing harness this would be my choice for such an endeavor. I hiked 10 miles with a 40 pound load and almost felt naked for because I got that feeling of missing something because the weight was so distributed well it felt like I wasn't carrying even a pound. I did feel a little clausaphobic putting it on and taking it off, and I feel very foolish with it all packed up, more than a few people looked at me with raised eyebrows and cocked heads and I had to reassure them that I was a charity worker not a military personnel. Unfortunately when trudging through the woods in tick infested new England it helps to tuck ur pant legs or wear blousing. The pants are tactical made by Propper, the boots 5.11 but anyone can clearly see wearing a Wrangler button down shirt, not a military top coat. Unfortunately with the condor vest I either look like an over prepared hunter or trainee uniform officer and is not the look I'm going for at all. I returned this item simply because I felt foolish wearing it with my relief uniform.

After adjusting, it fits perfectly!
Some people have complained about this chest rig sitting too low, but I'm perfectly happy with the size and fit after some quick adjustments. I'm 6'4" 220 lbs, so I'm taller than the average guy, but I had to adjust the straps quit a bit. It arrived with the straps being as short as possible, so I had to loosen all of them to make it fit well. The construction is solid. Everything is stitched well! My M4 mags fit great. I'll be using this for airsoft, so I'm very confident that this will hold up just fine over the years. I'm not using this for actual military use. For $50, you get a lot! I love how there's more coverage with this chest rig vs a typical one (this one has the molle flap to cover your upper chest, and the hydration pack. More coverage to protect me from those novritsch sniper bb's! One of our local players use one of those....ouch).

Wow!! As Good as described!!
I only just received it, so I haven't been able to subject it to hours of repeated use, but it appears to be extremely well-made and durable. With all of the MOLLE webbing it is very adaptable and versatile!! I don't doubt that (with the proper MOLLE pouches and things) this could serve instead of a pack for a short (1-3 day or more) outing. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Oh, and for comparison, I'm 6'2" and 285 lbs, and it fits comfortably (not too snug or tight)

Decent rig, MULTIPLE issues that could be better
First up this rig is pretty solid, it is well stitched and made with durable fabric, and also provides a LOT of versatility for mounting pouches. HOWEVER, there are a few serious issues that prevent this from being a 5 star piece of gear. 1 - my main complaint is that this rig cannot be worn comfortably with a battle belt. It simply sits to low even at max adjustment to work with a pistol and mags on the belt. Why not give enough adjustment that this can be worn around the chest / abdomen and not the stomach!?!? Im 5'10, it sits below my belly button. I may remove the buckles on the front and sew it in the shortest possible fixed position. This may work, we will see. 2 - shoulder strap design could be better. they are padded well enough on the shoulders and fit well, but they are a simple rectangular cut. From back to front. Would be nice to have some neck relief cuts and less padding in the front of the armpit area (non weight bearing) for better shouldering of a rifle. 3 - the integrated mag pouches are nice, but too small for 3x .308 Pmags on each side. You can fit 2 on each side, there is room for 3 if they did not include the "mag pouch" dividers. Would prefer this without them. Will work great for 5.56 mags. 4 - the closure system in the front has no adjustment. The "waist" size adjustment comes from the rear, near the kidney area. This is fine if you want to run this rig at a set "waist" size. However it creates unnecessary adjustment issues when you want to run this with a slick plate carrier underneath. You have to adjust 6 buckles in the rear to make it tighter, when 2 simple pull strap adjustments in the front would have been entirely sufficient. If these issues are not going to conflict with your kit, I 100% recommend this piece of gear. If not, you can modify this with a local seamstress or some sewing skills to be the most versatile LBV on the market that I know of.

Entry level chest rig
Decided on a chest rig instead of a plate carrier for a variety of reasons. Went with this rig because of cost and reviews. Seems well made, takes a bit to get adjusted just right and the center chest piece is a tab low. The mag pouches hold the mags snuggly in place with plenty of Molle to customize to your own liking. All in all great rig for the price.
