Looked great but too much paint for me!

This is an interesting set of glow in the dark paints. The set contains 10 small (1 oz) plastic jars of paint. The labels say it is "Harmful if swallowed. Keep out of the reach of children". It also states it complies with ASTM D-4236, which is a labeling standard that requires listing of all ingredients, and, the European standard EN71-3, which is a toy toxicity standard.I found this paint to be thinner than typical acrylic paint, it is also more transparent, likely due to the glow-in-the-dark components. In my experience, the paint has to be applied thick or in multiple layers to get a vivid bold color. It dries with a high-gloss finish.If you are use to high-quality acrylic paints, you may find these a bit harder to work with to get the desired effect and coverage. I think this is due to the difference in the thickness of the "body" of the paint. The difference is somewhat hard to describe, as it depends on what you are use to. These don't feel as "creamy" to me as my other acrylic paints, nor are they as opaque, which affects the workability and how you use them.The magic of this paint is its ability to store light energy and glow in the dark, which it does to a degree. In my testing, it did glow in the dark, although not very bright, and the effect was relatively short lived. As with all glow-in-the-dark products, the length of exposure and intensity of the "charging" light source has a direct impact on the resulting glow. As the listing points out, you need a thick coat (minimum 3mm) to achieve a good glow-in-the-dark effect. These also glow bright under UV light.This set includes 10 different colored jars of paint, they are labeled as having 1oz of paint in each. I did not confirm the amount, however, that seems accurate. Each jar I received was half full of paint.Bottom-line: This is a fun set of specialty glow-in-the-dark paint. The paint is very versatile and can be used stand-alone or combined with traditional acrylic paints. Layer it on thick to get a good glow in the dark.
