Low viscosity PU glue that sets faster than most other PU glues but also takes longer to fully cure. Foams very quickly compared to say Gorilla glue. I think I generally prefer the higher viscosity glues that fully cure faster but I guess if you have an application that needs low viscosity then this is your glue.PU glue foams to fill gaps, and is extremely sticky. It's set within minutes on a hot day and can take a load within the hour. It reaches full strength after about a day and is then extremely hard, plastic like substance that is very tough and waterproof.You should trim off any excess when it's set. Don't attempt to remove it before it's set or you just make a horrible mess. Don't get it on your hands, it's extremely sticky.Moisture sets the glue and it will set faster if there is a trace of moisture around but it doesn't need it, there is enough in the air to set it.Suitable for heavier glueing and structural glueing. Because it expands its not advisable to use it on something with a fine finish. It may expand out of the joint and become visible. Then you have a problem trying to get rid of the excess.Good stuff when used in the right context.

Great glue! Mid viscosity so fast to get onto the project and fast to spread, which is good as it starts to set up fairly fast. I've used this on doors so you want to work fast with so many joints to assemble. Rock solid.

Soudal great name in the trade

This is fantastic glue, especially if your woodworking skills are not amazing, foams up nicely and will tear the wood surface off before it lets go. The only down side is the viscosity, it’s fairly low, so if you are a bit liberal with the glue, it will run everywhere, think of Titebond III at half the viscosity, if not less, had it been a little bit thicker, it would have been my go to glue in the future, yes it fills bigger gaps, but there is twice as much cleanup afterwards.

As a long time experienced professional Woodworker I use a wide range of adhesives that includes cold set fish glue, PVA, 2 Part Epoxy Resin etc. I first came across PU expanding adhesive over 10 years ago and it is a very useful product to have on workshop shelf. This stuff is brown and has a consistency of runny treacle, very sticky so care is required. Damping one gluing surface accelerates the reaction causing expanding foam that creeps into every gap and crevice. I usually leave a few hours to set but it claims to be ‘ultra fast ‘ Using white spirit I tend to clean up as foaming begins and chisel off remains later. This is the best PU adhesive of its kind and highly recommend it for all types of wood work

Fast shipping, item as good as described...

I've been using the market leader for years but this stuff is better, goes off quicker and is significantly cheaper. It also seems to foam rather less, so there is less to clean up afterwards.The container is good too - built in holder for the lid and so far, less troublesome due to spout blockages than the more popular stuff.I'll buy again.

Ich habe den Soudal Holzleim P45 für den Bau meines Wintergartens verwendet um Luftundurchlässige Verbindungen herzustellen und bin mehr als zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis! Der Leim ist einfach in der Anwendung und bietet eine extrem starke Haftung, die perfekt für Holzverbindungen geeignet ist. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, dass der Leim beim Trocknen aufquillt und so auch kleinste Ritzen und Spalten perfekt füllt. Dank seiner schnellen Trocknungszeit konnte ich zügig arbeiten und meine arbeiten in kürzerer Zeit abschließen. Die einzelnen Verbindungen sind stabil und (hoffentlich) langlebig. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich die Übergänge mit Spezialsilikon ausgespritzt.Wichtig ist, dass man sich unbedingt an die Herstellerempfehlungen hält und beim verarbeiten Handschuhe trägt. Der kleber ist echt (und das meine ich wirklich) sehr schwer wieder von den Händen zu bekommen!! Ich kann den Soudal Holzleim P45 jedem Heimwerker wärmstens empfehlen, der hochwertige Ergebnisse erzielen möchte. Ich hatte gelesen, dass der ein oder andere sich über die Flaschengröße negativ ausgelassen hat. Ich kann das persönlich nicht nachvollziehen, da die Flaschengröße für mein Projekt vollkommen ausreichend ist/war. Ich brauchte aber ja auch 3 Flaschen.
