Rich's original edition was one of the best and most important books I've ever read. What can make it better? The expansion and the Steve From Accounting field notes! This book brings the distilled, practical cold hard truths to men in a way that's practical and applicable. The expansion includes the all-important Steve From Accounting Field Notes, which chronicles real world experiences in the application of these truths. In my own life, Rich has taught me how the world really works, how our society has urged men to be weak followers, and how I bought into a false belief system that led me to make bad decisions that were life crippling. Through applying this knowledge & wisdom (most especially the 21 Red Flags and avoiding them), I'm now awakened, far healthier, and more successful than ever.Personally, I was going through a bitter divorce, and my ex was attempting to take me to the cleaners (the woman you marry is never the same woman who you divorce-- very true). I ended up giving her much more than I legally needed to for the sake of inner peace, but I insisted on exact 50/50 time share with my daughter. During my divorce, I got involved with a woman with whom I was head over heals, who said I was the man of her dreams, the man her mother wished she had married (her parents still love me to this day), the man with whom she wanted to build a future... and much more, only to reconcile with her husband, who she had been divorcing but did a 180, dropping me like a hot potato in an instant. I was devastated and almost paralyzed, to the point I only wanted to go to the gym and go home. However, upon looking for answers, I was advised to look into Rich's content, and Rich showed me the truth of ONEitis, to chase excellence, to do the work, and to not settle for chicks with major red flags.Fast forward, and through the applications of his lessons, especially the 21 Red Flags to vet for, I'm in a healthy LTR with a traditional values woman who has no kids, wants kids, is responsible with money, who is in my frame, and through words & behavior desires me to be her leader and has genuine burning desire for me.Men, these lessons are invaluable to guys who are seriously successful and who are making a dent in the universe. This book taught me a ton of things I wish someone would have told me as a kid. While most guys find this book to navigate the current dating and relationship landscape, the book contains a ton of useful information to improve your life as a man in general beyond just the realm of dating, whether it be fitness, stress management, optimizing your health, etc. Even if you already have the first edition of this book I'd highly recommend the second edition, which adds useful field reports from someone who applied the knowledge contained in this book to his own life, and reported back on the results. I would highly recommend!

Christian or not, Young men need to know the information contained in Rich Cooper's Unplugged Alpha. As a Christian I do not have to endorse the sexual immorality of this world to understand the critical importance for young men to understand the inner workings of our fallen human nature when it comes to the male / female dynamic. Your sons and grandsons need to know how the world works and how to spot red flags in women in their lives and the male tendency to pursue women that can ruin their lives. Yes these red flags can and do exist in Christian women. The female nature remains regardless of a profession of faith, albeit the bad behaviors certainly lessen with sanctification of a true Christian woman. Call it the stain of original sin if you prefer but these tendencies are absolutely hard wired. Yes the Bible ultimately has the answers but consider the Unplugged Alpha for a supplement to your home library. It fills in the gaps when it comes to understanding our fallen nature in modern society.

Clear, concise, and to the point. Applicable in today’s world. Ignore this info at your own peril. Reread annually. Both first edition and this 2nd edition. Do yourself favor and get this if you’re a man in 2024 looking to interact with females.

Decisively accurate from Rich’s point of view and his experiences, which I believe all men can identify with here in America. However, thankfully, there is still a such thing called happily married. I believe it is still worth the work to pursue marriage, children and heritage just as much and if not more than merely pursuing ass.

Best take away for me is “do the work” and “chase excellence not women.” Focus on making “Bank,” fitness (6pk abs & ideal shoulder/waist ratio). Concept of “Frame” is important too. “Spinning plates” is no for me. Red flags chapter is good to read for single and divorced men looking to date.

I watched years of your videos before reading the book. Great work. What I love the most about it is that although the ugly truth of female nature can be depressing, through your work you offer solutions where men could be impressed with themselves, organically attract women, and weed out the ones with red flags. This is a must-buy and a must-read for every man to safeguard his life from the perils of the world and bad women.Women and the dating world in particular have changed drastically the last few years, and this book contains important, no-BS principles from a top thought leader in Richard, a cool man who I'm proud to know hails from my hometown, and is also a car enthusiast like myself.

I gave this five stars because that's all the website would allow. Rich Cooper is the type of guy I wish I had known in my late teens, early twenties. Would I have listened to his advice? Will you??Instead I discovered Rich in my late 30's through his podcast The Unplugged Alpha and Before The Trainwreck. His advice has helped guide me towards the path to success. His Mantra "Do the work" became my Mantra. From taking his advice I am spoiled for choice with dating women , I am writing my own book and I am starting to learn about finance and networking and hopefully will be on my way to running my own business.This is the 2nd edition contains easy to understand advice on dating, fitness, avoiding the pitfalls of marriage and societal expectations and how not just to succeed in life but to shine.Though I am very busy I have read this book at least 6 times and I would recommend the Audio.Do The Work as Rich would say .

I was blown away by this book! I couldn’t put it down and I read it in 1 day. It resonates so much with me and my path through life. I wish I’d know this before. I’m 44 male and recently divorced and everything in this book hits home and hits hard. No flowers or unicorns, just hard cold truth. I recommend everyone reads it, both men and women, to understand intersexual relationships and make life so much easier.

Ich habe schon das erste Buch von Rich und verfolge seinen YouTube Channel regelmäßig. Ich finde er leistet einen Mehrwert für alle die seine Message verstehen. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben finde ich seine ruhige Art den wesentlichen Inhalt zu erklären. Das Buch also eine absolute Leseempfehlung.

The honesty was incredible and the red flags has made me reflect on my experiences with women. Especially their attempts to discourage achieving my goals.
