I use it to charge my phone, while I am using the phone up to 10-13 feet from an outlet. I connect the end of a typical phone charger with 3 foot cable ending in a male USB C connector to the straight female connector of the extension USB C cable being reviewed. The right angle male connector of this cable plugs into the phone (tablet) USB C port.The right angle end of the port allows the cable to go directly right or left, using less than 1 inch vertical space, when the phone is used in the portrait orientation.The cable itself has an extremely strong outer covering that would probably withstand decades of accidentally stepping on it. At $15 this cable is not cheap, but having a right angle connector at the male end is almost priceless, easily worth $5 alone. The black color is easily the least intrusive choice. The charging performance is 100%; it rarely fails to charge and when it does, removing and reconnecting once is almost always sufficient. It suspect the problem is wear in using the phone's female USB C port. As mentioned, the charging connectivity is nearly flawless. I never used it for data transmission though, and thus I can not comment on that aspect of the product.

Bought this cable to plug into the USB C charging port on a tablet. The female end can then be used as the USB C port of the tablet. This enables me to charge the table by plugging a cable into the c port on the cable instead of the tablet. Over time, this reduces the wear and tear on the tablet's USB C charging port. I leave the cable connected to the tablet. Would have preferred an adapter, but the only male USB C to Female USB C adapter I could find was for Apple products. This cable gets the job done just as well. It was the shortest length I could find at .3 feet.

I have a tag on mine that says these are 3.1 cables and the ends say they are 10Gbps and not 20Gbps like the listing claims. I bought these for the fact that they were supposed to be 20Gbps, I am going to return them.

I was looking for a USB-C cable that did not stick straight out and this was the perfect answer! The braided cable makes it very sturdy and data and PD works great.

This 90 degrees cable comes ver handy when you don’t have much room in the back of your computer or laptop or even in the car.The cable itself is well made and the performance is good. Plug and ready to use. Be aware this not a very flexible cable

I recently rearranged my workspace and wanted to put my docking station under my desk but the cable on the docking station is only about 4 inches which is too short. This extension cable works perfectly for extending it and it’s just the right length for me to connect everything where I want it to be.This seems to be a very well-made cable. It’s somewhat thick and is braided which adds to the durability, but I also think makes it look nicer. This cable performs well. The connector fits perfectly at both ends. It plugs in nice and snug and stays put, it is not loose. The ends feel very solid, both ends of the cable are are reinforced well against tugs and bends. The right angle end is perfect for connecting to a laptop since it allows you to redirect the cable and route it toward the back. The only minor thing is that the right angle side of the cable sticks out a little bit too far for my taste. I think I would prefer it to be closer against the laptop. This is very minor and doesn’t affect the functioning of the cable at all. This may be particularly useful if you have a tablet or a laptop with a thick case and need the extra reach.This cable performs very well it charges my laptop just fine. Everything connected to the dock functions without any issues and seems stable. There is s tag on the cable stating that you may need to flip over the plug if it does not connect due to backward compatibility with the older usb c standard but mine works just fine in either direction. I definitely recommend.

This very short USB-C cables are extremely rare, which is a shock as they are also extremely useful! I use them as a USB-C port saver, so I plug into the cable rather than the original port. Yes, adapters can do the same, but they can put force on the port when unplugging, this cable adds flexibility so that force is avoided. MORE companies need to make these. A big hats off to this company for making them.Totally recommended.
