My cat loves this
Not many hepatic wet cat foods available. This is great.

Expensive But My Cat Likes It
My cats have got to the age where they are getting more expensive to keep them healthy. One now needs Hepatic food to relieve pressure on her liver. Vets orders. There are not that many options out there but this seemed to be as good as any. It's a bit of a novelty to feed my cat wet food from a tin instead of a pouch. My cat looked at me rather quizzically as I ring-pulled open the tin. This is quite important as you don't want to faff about with a can opener when you havea fickle cat waiting for food. They can change their minds quickly and you can be left with aplate of cat food in the kitchen for half a day.... that they then won't eat.The contents were a bit of a surprise looking more like a chocolate mouse than the multi-textured jelly coatedWhiskas or Felix cat food I usually get. I didn't taste it myself of course to confirm it tasted like chocolate.Using a spoon I scrapped out a dollap for my cat and clanged it on to her plate before presenting. She looked at it.She looked at me.A bead of sweat formed on my brow.'Ohh God she isn't going to like it!'. I thought. All cat owners know moments like this. Then she wolfed it down with a hearty purr!Relief!. I hadn't bought an expensive experiment gone wrong. Not only that but at the next feeding time she walked past the plate of other cat food putout for my other cat and scoured the Hepatic food plate for the few bits left over from before. She gave me me a penetrating look saying 'It's this stuff I want'.Result! It's more expensive that her usual life long food but as it's readily available, it's needed for her health and it's no more expensive per month that the vet prescribed pills I have to cajole my other elderly cat to eat.Hopefully in 8 weeks time my cat's liver will be on the mend.Later Comment.Cats are fickle. My cat no longer like this but with some encouragement she still eats it if mixed with a little standard cat food and a pile of dry Hepatic cat food on the same plate to offer a bit of variety. My other cat who does not need to eat it will eat it at the drop of a hat making managing both my cats food intake quite a logistical problem.

very sticky ,need to add extras to help cat eat it.
This has been the only hepatic wet food i could afford,,,it is edible, but is difficult for cat to eat as is very sticky,,,,find it best to thin out with other things.

Not for my cat
One of my cats has just been diagnosed with liver disease and this was the first thing I bought. Though it is quite thick and sticky, which made it hard for my cat to eat. I have found a dry food alternative that he likes, but if your cat doesn’t eat biscuits, there are other wet options. Though, I’m not saying other cats wouldn’t eat this, it’s just my cat is very fussy at the best of times.

Small amounts
Bit expensive but worth it if it works. My cat not keen on large amounts of it but small amounts and mix and match with other food.

Not for all cats tastebuds
Looked good but our 17 feline would not touch it! Should sell sample before purchase!
