It's nice to have roasted vegetables with our burgers and steaks, but it's not easy to grill them without them falling into the coals. These grill baskets are a handy solution. They are easy to fill, and they come with turning forks so you can roll them around the grill and get t hem smoked and cooked on all sides. The lids are easy to secure (though it takes just a bit of strength to open them after grilling). Veggies won't fall out when grilling. Frozen French fries come out really well, with a smokey flavor. They end up nice and crisp. Onions need to be grilled a little longer than other vegetables, we found, but I think if they are cut in smaller pieces they'd do just fine. Peppers come out great. Next time we grill, we'll try tomatoes, and next spring, we'll use marinated asparagus spears. These baskets make our barbecues just a little healthier by adding beautifully roasted vegetables to the table. They seemed to do just fine in the dishwasher afterwards and came out sparkling clean. I don't know if they will eventually rust, but for now they clean up just great.

Really liked the idea behind this but the execution isn’t so great. Of course, they don’t cost much either. The baskets feel a bit flimsy but what bothered me most is the way the top goes on. We have a paper towel holder that has a similar latch - basically there’s a small bump on the base and then a small indentation or alley on the top. Place the top on it, push down and then twist in a clockwise direction. So, it works, but it’s not nearly as strong as our paper towel holder that we’ve had for years. I don’t see this lasting years with regular use. That said, we’ve only put veggies in it so far, but it is working well for that currently. We’ll see how long it lasts…

I love these things man. Do you know how many pieces of asparagus I’ve lost to my oiled up grill? This thing is a lifesaver. The price is good for this product and is highly durable and is able to withstand at least 500 degrees. Absolutely love them.

If you like to grill vegetables and struggle with the skewer approach this is your answer. Vegetables on skewers sometimes will not turn over. Place them inside this product and just roll it around the grill top. How much easier can it be? It is best if you separate vegetables with similar cooking times in each container.

These are not super study. In trying to get the tops off to get the veggies out after grilling, it seems they might bend, which at the time we wondered might be a good thing because otherwise we weren't sure we'd get our food out.Ultimately we did, and they did not bend. Will use, but have little faith they'll last long.
