Definitely got the wrong size lock but I've got to say it's a pretty good lock and it's a Yale lock so it's everyone to their own but I would say this is a good lock it does what it does good keys anti-breaking lock it's really good definitely recommend if you've got a bigger door lol

Really easy to fit, remove one screw from inside the door frame, twist the key and remove the old unit. Reverse the process for the new lock. Took about 5 minutes including testing to make sure it was working ok. Measuring the lock dimensions to get the correct fitting unit was a pain – now wish I had temporarily taken the old lock out to get the measurements. Delivered earlier than expected!

Good build quality and fitting straight forward.As with all Euro locks, it's best to remove your existing lock first and measure. There are two ways euro locks are measured. One was is from front to centre bolt hole and then centre bolt hole to the rear. The other way is from front to start of the center swivelling part (this part turns to engage lock) which has the bolt hole then add 1 cm (10mm) for the swilling part then measure end of swivelling part to the rear. Different manufacturers use different methods for measuring and then retailers may use a different method to the maufacturer!So 40/35 (mm) can be same as 35/10/30Does not come with new bolts so you'll have to re-use old bolt so don't damage the head when removing it. Some of the more expensive Yales come with two new bolts to cater for the two different lengths used on the euro lock doors.

Had to replace my front door lock as I had lost my keys and didn't want the off-chance that somebody had them and could let themselves in and pinch my stuff. Absolute piece of cake to remove old one and fit new one yourself. No tradesman required.. Good quality anti bump/anti pick etc. Selection of screw sizes provided too (but I just replaced it using the old screw that was still in perfect condition.) Three keys as well . Recommended indeed :-)
