is there a big difference between the classic and premium ultra soft?

The classic sponges are great and work really well, but the premiums are much softer and a little more absorbent.

How long can you wear these for?

As long as a regular tampon if not longer. I usually wore it around 8-10hrs

How much do the different sizes absorb compared to tampons? The bigger they are the more they absorb? Not sure which package to start with!

The size really depends on your comfort. I got large ones & trimmed them down. Firmer sponges are more absorbent than softer ones. I have no basis for comparison to a tampon since I can't wear them but it's super easy to just rinse the sponge as needed and give it a good cleaning once or twice a day at your convenience.

Could you wear these while swimming?

never had a problem with them- they dont leak. Just make sure you change them before and after.
