Brilliant plug & play headlights
Was initially skeptical given the general negativity on retrofit LED headlight bulbs. Turns out they work brilliantly on a 2017 Renault Zoe ZE40, notorious for pathetically dim halogen headlights despite being a relatively new EV. These H7 bulbs work great in the car's projector headlight housings, throwing out crisp white light that actually lights up the road ahead. My projector lenses also keep the factory beam patterns so I do not blind oncoming traffic. Installation is dead simple. Literally plug & play in replacement of the original H7 halogen bulbs with no modifications or workarounds needed at all. Downside to these keeping the H7 bulb shape/size is that they do not get as bright as the other LED bulbs that are physically larger and sometimes come with bulky heatsinks. But from 2 months' use (Oct - Nov), I found them to be perfectly adequate for general road use. My car does not have any canbus or electrical system checks for its exterior bulbs so bulb errors is not a problem for me, and I cannot comment on these bulbs' error prevention or canbus circumvention ability.

H7 Volvo C30 D2 2012. Brilliant upgrade.
Ok first thing to say is that nowhere did it say these are Canbus error free so I was expecting a fault to show.... and it did...On my car that is no big deal. Start the car, error msg "low beam failure" pops up.. press the "ok" button on the stalk and its gone. No engine management light at any time and a one second fix. At some point I will probably buy the philips canbus corrector but at around £30 Im in no rush. Next the important part. Performance. Very very easy to fit.. bulbs have instant start up when switched on. The beam pattern is identical to the nightbreaker bulbs they replaced as far as I see. My car has projector headlights. The beam spread is more even and solid to my eyes. Driving with them is an altogether better experience over halogens. They light up road signs without the reflected glare of halogens. They illuminate the road in a more effective way for me. They dont appear "brighter" than halogens on the road surface but the white beam colour is far better at picking out what you need to see in my opinion. Its easier on the eyes. The cut off on the beam is spot on and no way a problem for oncoming drivers. My headlights look great and these bulbs have transformed my car to looking more modern and clean. If they last the 1500 hours promised they are well worth the money over nightbreakers. I shall be buying the H9 for main beams next. Yes I know they are not "road legal" in the UK .. and if they were in anyway inferior to halogens or posed a problem for blinding other drivers they would go. They dont.. they work brilliantly.. they are better than halogen and for me represent a safer drive. I will switch them out at MOT time. I have not driven them in rain or snow as yet but expect they will deliver the same quality performance.

Worth every penny!
I'm surprised by the difference these LEDs make compared to high-end bulbs. The light is really bright and cool. They fit perfectly, and they have the exact same dimensions as regular H7 bulbs. My best purchase of all time. You can really see the difference. Worth every penny.

Bright and white.
Excellent upgrade to main-beam headlamps. The same physical size as an H7 incandescent bulb with no additional fan or heat sink needed. For some reason, my car had LED dipped beams and halogen main beams and the mismatch was always visible. The Ultion LEDs match the colour of the dipped beams now and the light output is a huge improvement. Clear white light. Light spread is very even, throw is excellent, street legal and they have been 100% compatible with the CANBUS system on the car. They run cooler and use less energy than halogen bulbs. The LEDs should last longer than overrun incandescent bulbs. No flickering, very easy to fit and superb value for money from a market leader in vehicle lighting.

What could have taken an hour is now in its second day.. [and old bulbs back in]
These, LED-HL Ultinon Access - for HB3 or HB4 lights. Don't! Just DO NOT. This is about specific fit HB3/HB4. My review can't work for any other fitting because each fitting is, very obviously, different in design and material and, who knows, might fit perfectly. HB lamp types are the L-shaped bayonet types. I bought a pair for a 2000 Toyota which has both HB3 and HB4 lights in lamp unit, as in, main and dipped beams require separate bulbs. Each bulb is assembled from two separate pieces, bayonet collar and bulb assembly. The collar is supposed to 'lock' to the lamp unit and then the whole thing bayonets into the fitting as one piece, like a regular filament bulb - in desperation I did try the pieces separately. The locking collar, a stressed piece, is made of a very nice, incredibly soft, flexible plastic. It does not lock in because it bends round the lock lugs that are supposed to be the 'locks'. The lugs look a bit small. I never managed to 'lock click' and confirm correct fitment. My best success was to have bulb stay in limply. Mostly I could wiggle it out. I could spin bulb round and round, lock collar zipping past locking lugs. The old bulb are back in. I don't think I did anything wrong - if so then a usable manual might have set me right. I don't see how this was ever sold. The eco-instructions are just as insulting. None in the box of course. No need to consult paper instructions whilst working on a car, good thinking that. I eco-downloaded the eco-instructions and found them as useless as the bulbs themselves. It's just a wishfully thinking brochure about what might be happening to some imaginary bulb THAT FITS. This review is specific to the fitting. I bought same brand, different series for H7/H18 and those look usable [I can't say more than that as I ran out of daylight doing battle with a light bulb. And losing]

I put these Phillips Ultinon LED H7 globes in my partners 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. They work a treat. Perfect fit and they don’t upset the computer at all. And the light that comes out of them is brilliant as you can see in the photos. High beam and low beam. Highly recommend these 10/10
