Bibike Suspension Stem Shock-Absorbing Bike Handlebar Stem for Road, Gravel, Hybrid, and E-Bikes

I bought this stem for two reasons: It raised the level of the bars, making it easier on my back. It also provided a suspension effect at the bars. The package came without any instructions or tools, neither of which I needed. I learned through another viewer’s comment, that there is an internal adjustable preload, which allowed me to stiffen up the unit. My first impressions are very favorable. The stems helps soften up the surface irregularities nicely, better than a suspension fork on small hits. The diving sensation on the drops and brakes takes a little getting used to. This thing works pretty good, and didn’t cost me $300.

First off I'd have to say that the bill quality is pretty good on this device and you should get an instant clue that when the device is mounted the manufacturers name is upside down. I never had one of these before so this is just my first impression. The movement of the handlebars will not be vertical in fact they'll move forward and down and then return to position, However this just takes a little bit getting used to and if you're looking to just decrease vibration like you were riding over some cobblestone streets or small bumpy trails this definitely reduces the amount of fatigue you fill in your arms. It's easy to install and it's easy to remove, my one suggestion is make sure that your handlebars are the correct size for this device. Overall it improved the right ability of my bicycle and that's what I was looking for and I didn't have to spend over $100.

The shock absorption seems OK however the stem has lateral side to side movement that cannot be tightened up very annoying when the handlebars move a quarter inch up and down This product will be returned

I bought this for my gravel bike. It feels a little strange when you first start using it because of how it works but once you get used to it you will fall in love. I rode 17 miles this past Saturday and its amazing how much comfort this adds to your bike. I don't care if you ride on roads or trails, this is a luxury you need on your bike. It's also a nice benefit that it doubles as a riser too. Sure, it might be pricey for what it is but its worth it.

Have arthritis in my hands but the front fork suspension on my e-bike was not enough to prevent cramping and pain from sudden bumps. This suspension stem fit perfectly, operates smoothly and absorbs the jolts caused by our great Michigan roads (ie; pothole pocked pavement). I believe this is a decent option when on a budget. Recommended.

If you ride on gravel or bumpy roads this stem will be very effective it definitely smooths out the rough roads and takes out the sting of long rides. Definitely worth the price, and would recommend this to anyone who likes to ride, it will not add much weight to the bike and is easy to install.

This stem is easy enough to install but, so far, I don't feel that it is absorbing the shock of rough roads as the product description promises. It would certainly help if the seller had provided some instructions along with the product because, lacking any feedback from them, I may be forced to return it.

If you ride on broken pavement, root bound asphalt bike paths or light trails this stem can increase your comfort. Just enough rebound to reduce stress on your wrist. The price is much better than other suspension stems i considered. It has held up well with no issues after 3 months of regular use.
