Bigger than I expected which is great for my 97 year old mom. Regular phone she could not hear on. This new one is perfect She can hear clearly and also read. Messages that are also saved in text if she needs to reread. Ringer loud which is perfect for her. Easy setup. Had my grandson do it , contacts in phone for easy dial. So glad I ordered highly recommend if you have loved one with poor hearing In setting we opted for auto which has worked out great it is very easy for her to operate and answer

I had no idea that phones like this exist. It is the best thing I ever discovered and bought via Amazon. Easy to set up and use. The captions are saved for later use if needed. Voice mail is also built into the phone without any need to setup. If call is not answered it is automatically transfered to voice mail with messages converted to text and saved. Six volume levels for both regular receiver and speaker. Be aware that you must register and certify a hearing loss before this phone will provide closed captions.

This phone works well. I bought it for my grandmother who has nerve damage in both ears and still struggles to hear even with hearing aids. The only complaint we have is that it rendered her other portable phones useless. They are not compatible. Once this phone is connected, it is the only one that can be used.

It's great as the volume automatically on the receiver is higher for the customer and the screen display wonderfully done Bright and functioning well

Poor instruction- never seen anything about having to have internet for it to work!! 87 year old grandad don’t have internet and sure could benefit from a reading item since he can’t hear

The sound on this caption phone is excellent. In order to have a perfect readout, since the words are typed by a person listening to the conversation, a court reporter would be necessary and, I am sure, prohibitively expensive. As it is, the words are not always accurate and come up rather slowly, but it is better than nothing, by far. For the price (or free, if you want to go to the trouble to get a note from an audiologist), it is worth it. By the way, the answering machine part of it is excellent.

It’s a wonderful help and reasonably priced for the features it provides. I highly recommend it.

This item is not compatible with UK systems. It should not be marketed to UK. What a waste of time and money to ship from US and back when a few words of text could have saved the hassle and cost. Im not the first and probably not the last to find this out the hard way.
