You do need to be careful with your hole size. As to big a whole will make any wedge anchor useless. I would not use these for a critical or high load joint I doubt that these are tested and I didn't see a rating on them. But for lots of projects they seem fine. I used these right at the edge of saltwater to hold part of a handrail. I used two per upright, to be sure it was solid. If it were for a railing on an edge of a deck or something I'd use more just to be sure

I ordered these anchors to secure my new carport to a foundation pour I did a few months back. They were the perfect size for my needs and I was glad to see them available in stainless steel to avoid unsightly corrosion as they will be outdoors and visible after being installed (at least partly). Installation was pretty straight forward: tap into the hole, give the nut one final whack to set the anchor then tighten - so far so good!

Well constructed heavy duty wedge bolts. Used these to mount a lumber rack in my shop. Make sure you have holes drilled where you want these to stay, once they grab there’s no letting go. Easy enough to install, make sure you drill the proper size hole so they grab right away. Couple of turns with a impact driver and their in to stay.

Metric so you have to ream the hole as hard as you can then really pound it in there

Twice I ordered, and twice got 10mm. Not 3/8-16 SAE threads or diameter. Will probably work fine using the nuts supplied, but I'm using 3/8-16 SAE security nuts.

These anchors may seem a little expensive compared to some others but they are solid stainless steel not galvanized or plated. They should not rust and will last much longer in harsh environments like near sea water or in industrial use exposed to chemicals.
