Each ProWarm mat is 1200mm x 600mm. Each board covers 0.72m². If you work out the area of the floor then divide by 0.72, this'll tell you how many mats you require. It is recommended to add 10% on to the area to factor in wastage.

5 or 6 mm thick if I can remember

Q: Does it compress under load? i plan to use in a shed floor under 18mm osb but will have heavy equipment on top, though the load will be spread.

The board has a compressive strength of 150kPa, equivalent to an even load of 15 tonnes per sqm. or 150kgs per 10cm x 10cm square. So once the wood has been installed on top this will help spread the load of any feet from the machinery.

These are suitable as underlay. As long as they are not used for under floor heating systems.
