Janome Clear View Quilting Foot and Guide Set

This is probably one of the best purchases I have made since I started quilting. My machine came with a 1/4" quilting foot, but I have quickly learned how important it is to be able to sew a scant 1/4" which my presser foot would not allow. This presser foot is incredibly versatile and can be used for all kinds of quilting seams. I love that it's clear and I love the markings, especially when I need to stop 1/4" away from the edge and turn a corner. And sewing a scant 1/4" is super easy when I adjust my needle position and use the clearly marked guide on the foot. I love it!

Not only did this fit my older Janome machine perfectly, it works better than 2 other piecing feet I had previously bought. One was a generic foot and one was the Janome genuine O foot, with guide. This foot seems to keep the fabric flatter to the needle plate, I have no fishtailing at all when piecing. This is also clear, which is very helpful when doing precise sewing, to know what is happening under the presser foot. I really love the versatility of this foot with the guides. I like this so much, I have only removed it once since I got it, and that was to use a zipper foot. This is so versatile, being that you can use with the piecing guide, or put in the center guide for stitch in the ditch or edgestitching. Or remove the guide altogether and have a nice clear foot with markings. Those markings help in keeping an exact seam, and also for pivoting around corners and making Y seams. This has just been such a helpful foot and is a low-cost upgrade to your sewing machine. The guides are easy to change and remove while the foot is still on the shank. I only wish Janome would have provided a little container for the guides, I am always afraid they will get lost.

I really like that this foot is multi-use. The directions were a bit lame, but with a little fiddling I figured it out. The ¼" seams is a scant ¼, but since I know that I can compensate if I need a full ¼". The stitch-in-the-ditch function works perfectly. Really glad to have it as I do a lot of ¼" seams.

i love the fact that I can see thru the foot because it is clear. Can be used with the guides or without. Also very nice that is has all the markings for 1/4 inch sewing for quilting.

This foot does not fit the Memory Craft 12000 I failed to test it on my machine in 2017 when purchased, and just now have time again to quilt. My bad.

I will have to return it. Even though it says it will fit a Janome Skyline s5, it doesn't.

Arrived as promised. This foot is used or the scant 1/4 inch quilting seam. Be sure to remove both the guides, included in the package, to get a precise scant 1/4. Thanks for the fast delivery and happy sewing

A brilliant little foot for easy and accurate1/4 and 1/8" seams and as a 'stitch in the ditch' guide - I wouldn't be without it. It works well on both of my high and low shank Janome machines.

Am looking forward to using this foot for stitch in the ditch....I'm still working on the quilt blocks so haven't gotten to putting the layers together. I believe this foot will be a lot easier to use than the regular sewing foot.

Delivery fine, they do what it says on the tin. As always named accessories a bit on the expensive side but generic ones for sewing machines not worth the risk.

The product was fine. The package it was delivered in blew away to my neighbors yard....fortunately it was found but only because we saw it delivered on doorbell camera and went looking for it right away....
