I have been wanting to mill our own flour and this has been a nice option for our family. I feel like it was a small investment to make healthier flour. I could definitively use a larger capacity in the future. There are some sharp edges and lack of some safety features (no power shut off when lid is off). I would still recommend for the price and quality!

This is a serious grinder I would say it is industrial grade. My husband is the chef in the family and was excited to see this avaialble. He used it to make his own ground pepper and it ground it very finely and brought out the flavor, a bit to intensely for me but he is in love. easy to figure out and use he is very excited to start grinding all his own fresh spices. I on the other hand am not so excited to store it as it is a bit large so please check the measurements if you have limited storage space.

This grinder is very powerful and works well. It has a fairly large capacity, and grinds things down in seconds. The motor is pretty loud but that's expected with something this fast and strong. The fact that it rotates makes it very easy to remove the contents once it's done as well. However, the knob used to tilt it over could be replaced with one that's grippier and easier to turn. Also, make sure that the bolts on the lid are tightened to ensure a tight seal. I didn't realize it wasn't fully tightened down and the vibration of the machine caused some grains to leak out the top. Otherwise, this is a great mill that would work well for many different uses.

These electric grinders are being sold with the wrong power cord. I purchased this grinder twice. The 1st time the cord did not fit properly and it had signs of fire damage, and it looked like the serial number sticker was removed from the cord. So to be safe I returned the unit and asked for a replacement. Well the second unit was almost the same exact issue. The cord did not fit the unit, and it looked like the serial number sticker was removed as well. There was no signs of fire damage on the second cord, but the cord definitely didn't fit. I believe these units were purchased cheap because they came with no power cord, and they are being resold with improper power cords, which could be a fire hazard, in my opinion. Buyer beware.

I have not actually used it yet only to grind rice to prepare to grind wheat seeds. I am going to use it to grind wheat berries to make flour. I Ground wheat berries today and made bread. It is baking now, I hope I ground it fine enough. I didn’t want to grind it too long.
