Excellent seat for a bowl with inner rim dimensions 11" x 13.5"
Fits my toilet perfectly and solidly. As the ad states, this is a 4" riser, but the ad also states incorrectly that it is a 5.1 cm riser. 4" equals 10 cm, and this information is given correctly on the box.The lid is very thin and light but that's good, not bad, as far as I'm concerned. Most of the reported problems are when the seat does not fit. The INSIDE dimensions of my toilet boil are 11.0" left to right and 13.5" front to back. Some sellers say this seat is for "round" toilet bowls but NO toilet bowls are round. ALL toilet bowls are elongated. The version that's sold for "elongated" toilets would not, I'm sure, fit my toilet, even though my toilet is 2.5" longer front to back than it is left to right. A more proper description is that this seat is for toilets with a standard elongation and the seats for elongated toilets are for toilets with a more pronounced elongation.I had no problem installing the seat in less than a minute. Removing the old seat took about 3 minutes. The plastic clamps work extremely well on my toilet and the seat does not slide or rock at all.It appears that I could have left the existing seat and lid on, (in raised position.. it would not be possible to lower them with this AquaSense seat in place). However, I needed to replace my existing seat anyway since it was cracked, and this does the job perfectly, raising the seat by 4". I'm tall, but the 4" rise would not be a problem, I'm guessing, even for someone 5' tall unless the toilet was tall to begin with. With this raised seat installed, the seat is now 18" above the floor in my bathroom. That's the same height as the seat of a standard dining room chair.

A decent seat at a decent ($31) price.
I bought this to help me with my total knee replacement surgery. I'm about 250 lbs and read the reviews about being unstable or low quality. Maybe the lot mine came from was after some updates had been done. It's easy to install (you must uninstall your existing toilet seat cover, and when you tighten the new one in, don't try to be a Hulk and over tighten. I'm only 4 days in to using it, but it's solid, doesn't wiggle around and raises me to a decent height.Since it's raised, it is a little more difficult to clean the toilet, not by much, and men can't just lift a lower lid when they pee (there is no lower lid) but it works excellent for the person who it was intended for.. someone with a recent knee or hip surgery that needs a raised seat temporarily.I would recommend at this time.

Works Well
Does what we intended it to do. Raises the height of the toilet so that it's easier to get on and off for my wife, who has very weak leg muscles. It will move a little if you put weight on one side, so you need to be sure get on and off vertically. Also, when used by men for taking a leak, it makes the toilet opening smaller which means better aim is needed. That also means that on occasions you may need to wash down and clean the sides of the riser. All said, it works well for what we need and we'll be keeping it.

What a difference a few inches make
The original seat was just too low. I don't have bad knees but would have if I stayed with the original seat. This seat was easy to attach, even though it does not line up with the regular placement of a toilet seat. There are no bolts and screws to secure it to the bowl. It's tall enough to avoid to much bending and it sits over the toilet bowl so no chance of missing the toilet. I find it easy to clean, but troublesome if you have to remove it for major bowl cleaning. Lid is not an easy, silent closing lid. It slams shut and is thin. Overall, it satisfies my needs and knees.

This right here is definitely worth buying!
I love this toilet seat with lid! I recently moved into an apartment that has a 'child size' toilet! (so ridiculous!)I mean it's small and low to the floor! Within just a few days my knees(with osteoarthritis) were killing me... couldn't get off the toilet without pain throughout my knees and traveling up my legs a little! This toilet seat is perfect! It's comfortable and sturdy and I can stand right up now without all the pain! And it looks decent too. Not like those big old awkward ugly beige seats that elderly people had to use in the past! Took my son just a few minutes to install it (right on top of the original toilet seat) My kids are also impressed and said that I do not have to remove it whenever they come over. I also have a small stool in there that the smaller Grandchildren can use to get up there. This has turned into one of the most important purchases I've made in a long time and I urge you, if you have bad knees,(like me), to just buy it! Also, it IS returnable if you don't like it for some reason! As for me....I'm so happy with the purchase!

A must for anyone needing help getting up
Best thing; it has a lid. After wasting money buying 3 riser seats(non-returnable and as many seat & lid combos(also non-returnable) I found this was the only raised seat that worked, is comfortable and easy to pop off and clean. There was a problem with getting it to stay clamped to the toilet side but a bit of rubberish shelf liner fixed that for me.I don't know how the people who said a regular seat could be attached to the others because the bolts don't fit any of them.
