Best pomade I have tried
This stuff is great!!! A little bit goes a long way, it has awesome hold while not making your hair look flat and squished and smells great. I have tried several pomades including old spice and american crew, and this one has become my favorite by far. Once it dries it does not feel sticky and if your hair gets messed up throughout the day you can just wet it a little bit and i will reactivate the pomade allowing your to restyle. I find it works best for me if I apply it, comb my hair completely back, and then blowdry it dry with cool air. Once it's semi dry like that it's really easy to style and looks great :)

Strong Hold Without the Sticky Feel — Great Everyday Paste!
I’ve been using the Cremo Thickening Paste for a few weeks, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The texture is lightweight and easy to work with, and it spreads evenly through my hair without any clumping or residue. One of the best things about this product is the balance it strikes between high hold and low shine. It gives my hair enough structure to keep styles in place throughout the day, but it still looks natural — not greasy or stiff like some other styling products. It also does a great job at adding volume and making my hair feel thicker, which is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve used it for both casual looks and more polished styles, and it performs great either way. Another bonus is that it washes out easily with just regular shampoo — no build-up or heavy feeling afterward. If you’re looking for a dependable, everyday styling paste that holds without making your hair crunchy, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Honest review.
Switched from my other thickness wax to try this one based on the brand and tbh is not bad, has some pros and cons. Good smell, quality is alright but doesn’t give the thickness on hair as much and also through the day it loses its texture.

I don't think people understand what this is for...
It's getting a lot of mixed reviews, some loving it and some not so much. Products like this are very personal and subjective. But I think some folks are confusing this matte hair paste for other products and then don't like it because it's not what they're used to because it's not super gooey, not shiny, or doesn't have enough hold. What I learned is that this type of product is for people with fine hair, thinning hair, etc., so the first thing I learned from professional barber Matty Conrad is that when you have fine or thinning hair you don't want a lot of weight or water sagging your hair down. Gels, pomades, and the like have higher hold but also weigh your hair down making it appear like you have less hair. So the function of this type of product is supposed to be light and dry. So less is more in the sense that you don't want a ton of product in your hair weighing your hair down, making it appear stringy, saggy, or limp. Another thing is that hold is dependant on hair length, and so he recommends that folks with thinning or fine hair keep hair length between 3 to 5 inches. I actually bought this because his Victory brand super dry was out of stock and this seemed like a good comparison. I will say that I don't blow dry my hair personally, but he recommends salt sprays, matte dry pastes, and blow drying your hair and getting a cut that suits your hair type. All this to say, I think some people are not liking this product because it's not what they're accustomed to. But what they're accustomed to is usually made for thicker hair types. So it's all about maximizing your specific hair type. Also, it doesn't go into wet hair or on wet hands as well as others products. I've come to see this is because super dry matte pastes are made for dry to mostly dry hair. When used correctly I find it gives me the texture and hold I need, and smells clean and refreshing. Not trying to put folks down or anything, but I hate to see bad reviews because people are not up to speed on this sort of thing. Anyway, I'll be trying Victory super dry when it's back in stock, but in the meantime this is fantastic stuff. Just that you have to understand what's it's intended to do and how to use it just right! Hey I had to learn all this too! If you go to Matty Conrad's YouTube channel there's a video on fine and thinning hair that really helped me to understand how to maximize my own personal haircare needs. In the meantime, I think this product is getting a bad wrap because it's made for specific reasons. Hope this helps you guys and gals out there!

Great stuff for my handlebar mustache
I love this for my handlebar mustache. I have never grown one before so I’m finding a whole new world of products meant for beard and mustache grooming. I’ve bought several types of mustache wax with varying results: some don’t provide any hold, some are too thick or tacky, many smell like pine tar and lanolin. This is a great compromise between having enough hold without the tacky texture. This also smells the best of all my products. It is also much more economical than the pine tar stuff. The only drawback I’ve encountered is that sometimes small white crumbs appear as the paste gels, but these are easily manageable with a wipe or comb through.

professional opinion & use
This is my new go to product. I'm a female hairstylist, out of the business, recovering from a kidney transplant so I need easy products, like most people. My hair is short, normal thickness and naturally between curly and wavy. It's not stinky, in any direction. It's just kind of clean and light on fragrance. I hate almost all fragrances so that's really huge with me and I'm not allergic to it. Yay! Oh and it's a matte finish. No vaseline looking hair for me, thanks. I want some control and a messy separated look, without being too heavy or greasy. I think this product will work best if you're a little on the thin side, all the way up to a normal thickness. I do not recommend this to someone with ultra thick hair because by the time you get enough of it, it'll be too heavy and gross feeling. This product is fairly lightweight for a paste...but it is paste so tread lightly if you're noticeably thinning. Here is my recommendation on how to use this product: First of all, this will 100% work better on dry hair. This is true with almost all products in these little round cans. If you're looking to get what I call a piecey look or textured look, start with an amount that equals about 2 green peas. (noticeably thinning start with one pea) Put that in one palm and rub your palms together. Most of these products work better with a little body heat. Then do what I call "scrunch, pick and pull". Go over your hair with a scrunching motion to distribute the product. Then use your hands to pick and pull your hair into your desired style. If you need more neatness you can also use a comb after the scrunching step. Don't be afraid to add hairspray if you like an ultra textured look. Don't expect this to hold to that level by itself. I use sculpting lotion when my hair is wet. Then I dry it. Then I apply this product and then hairspray. If you have hair that is difficult in any way, you're not likely to ever find a magic product that does it all. I can't but this whole routine takes me less than 5 minutes so do what you gotta do.
