ECOGARDXC10482 Cabin Air Filter Fits 2015-2019 Hyundai Sonata

This is a great item and fits nicely. The instructions are simple as well. Now my car is smelling fresh!

When I would take my Hyundai Sonata in for service, they would always say my cabin filter needs replaced. I always thought, "Yeah sure, trying to up sell me." I saw this on Amazon for a very reasonable price and bought it. I'm sure the dealer would have charged me much more than the $10.00 I paid for this. I watched a YouTube video on how to change it, super simple by the way, and when I took out the old one...OMG! Turns out, they're very important. A dirty cabin filter makes your AC work harder and can cause expensive damage. Trust me...this is a very important and inexpensive preventive maintenance purchase. Don't get taken by a dealer or mechanic. This is so easy to change, no tools required!

This cabin air filter fit my 2017 Sonata Limited like a glove. Compared to factory filter on left of picture the new filter on the right seems to be identical in size, quality, and materials. The price was much less than the dealer would charge. Took me about 5 minutes to change out after watching a you tube video. Most of that was reinstalling the quarter turn plastic keepers inside the glove box as they only go in one way. Very simple if you check the index pattern first. At less than ten bucks I am more likely to change the filter sooner which is a good thing. I wish this filter had soda/carbon absorbers like on my Santa Fe, but since the size of this filter is smaller I'm assuming it might restrict the air flow rate. Overall very happy with my purchase.
