I really love this tool.
So I didn’t think that it could get better than the vacuum pen I have, but it alerts my dog to the fact that I’m paying attention to something other than him and while I still think it’s a great pen, since I quickly went from knowing nothing about Diamond painting to becoming an enthusiast and actually understanding the function of the clay, etc I wanted to give it a try. I got it in purple and I love it. I feel like I prefer tools that are heavier in my hand for balance and accuracy and this fulfills that. Most of all, I love that rather than poking at wax, it comes from the inside of the pen. That part, admittedly takes a little practice to get used to because the very slightest push to move the top is all you need. Any more than very slight movement and you will end up extruding too much of the clay. It’s very easy to use once you are used to it. A little goes a long way and you’ll be surprised and how slight the movement is to get just enough. It doesn’t come in a variety of colors, it eliminates the step of having to push your tool into the clay, which is very convenient. I have no problem with the wax that it comes with, but to refill it, if you have a favorite brand, it shows you how to roll it up to use any clay that you prefer. The size is comparable to the vacuum pen as well as the weight. I find it comfortable to use and the barrel is as thick as a quality pen. For me, it’s a good fit. I love that the other end works as a tool to push your gems into line and make it look so much better. Very happy with this purchase although I do love my vacuum pen and I will no doubt use both. It’s great to have a portable compact portion to bring projects on the go and not require outlets. Well worth the cost.

The best diamond art pen on the market!
If you’re serious about diamond painting, the Benote Diamond Art Pen is an absolute game-changer. Designed like a mechanical pencil but made specifically for wax, this pen allows you to place drills effortlessly for hours without constantly reloading. The precision tip gives you clean, accurate placement every time, and the build quality feels solid and professional in your hand — not flimsy like many others on the market. ✨ Highly recommend to both beginners and advanced diamond painters who want to elevate their setup. It’s sleek, reliable, and worth every penny.

Must have for diamond art projects!!
Having done many diamond art projects, I felt I needed a better tool than the typical plastic straws that come with most kits. Upon delivery of the package, I jumped right away into switching to this tool. Let me tell you!! This. Tool. Rocks! The weight of the metal feels great, like an old fashion Mont Blanc writing pen. It balances easy in your hand and is actually much easier to hold and grip compared to the flimsy plastic versions. The grip slid on very easy as well to provide just the right amount of comfort when gripping. Another great feature is the rolled wax that is placed inside. No more digging the end of the tool into a wax pad. Plus it shows you how to roll up a wax pad into a roll and install! I have tried other tools before in addition to the plastic one. This is hands down the best quality for a diamond art tool!

Quality Product!!!
I don’t normally write reviews but this product deserves to be reviewed! I’ve been Diamond Painting for 7 years and have done over 220 16”x20” framed paintings. I have struggled with the wax situation for all these years. I am extremely satisfied with this product. I was concerned about the size of the tip but it works perfectly for placement of the drills. I was also wishing it was a thicker barrel but when you use the black pencil holder it makes it perfect. Also that added straightener on the end of the pen is quite helpful. Well thought out and worth the money. I also purchased their additional round wax 6 pack set, even though they were kind enough to add wax squares if you wanted to roll your own. An excellent purchase!🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Best pen on the market for diamond art
I’m fairly new to diamond painting. Started off with an electric rechargeable pen because I saw so many people complaining about using wax. And it worked great for about 3 days, then the suction stopped working. So I used one of the cheap pens that come with the sets while I was waiting on a replacement to come in. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I was lead to believe. So I went in search of a higher quality pen that used wax. And found this one. I LOVE IT! So much easier than dipping in wax. And more reliable than the electric pens.

Be careful when trying to refill the unit.
I had to change my opinion after the seller contacted me. They have the best customer service I have ever had the pleasure to see. They have offered a new pen or a refund. Naturally I want the new pen because it looks like the best choice for diamond dot projects. The next part of this report is below. I had to change from 3 stars to 5 since their customer service is so amazing. This pen worked great when I first got it. The problem was that it broke apart trying to refill it. Now the wax comes out of the open part on the side and will not come out the tip. Using their soft wax should have worked, but it just made such a mess and now the wax is up into the screw parts.

Quality diamond art tool that is comfortable and very well designed
This is a great high quality tool for diamond painting. It's a little heavy at first, but the design and the stability are outstanding. The slip on grip that comes with it makes it very comfortable to hold. I just threw away a bunch of the plastic pens that come with every Diamond Art kit - I'll never need them again. Tip for users - when you twist the top to push more wax, turn it very slowly. As soon as you feel pressure, stop. This will help you avoid wasting wax that comes out of the tip if you twist it too quickly.
