Definitely a step up from mild, comparable to Buldak Carbonara hot sauce if you’ve had it or any of the milder Buldaks. Super great flavor, sweet, savory, just like it says. Great to put in broths or vegetables and you get a lot for the price.

Delicious! I'm very sensitive to spicy foods and can't handle much heat at all. This paste is more of a warm heat that doesn't take long to dissipate. You can adjust the heat level by how much you use. If you don't want a lot of the warmth then just use a little. I find adding things like peanut butter (for a sauce)or sugar to it also helps lower the heat. I'm so happy I tried it because it's yummy. I even tried a little smear on my fried egg over rice and I'm hooked.

This is a Korean semi-hot chili that they use to make delicious kimchi from as well as many other dishes and as a condiment or hot sauce. I use it in cooking for its flavor as a concentrate, but I up the spice levels a bit for personal preference. This is a great brand and their chili paste is sweet, savory and exactly like the many dishes I have enjoyed from Korea cooking. This was recommended by my Korean girlfriend and she is very exact on her cooking ingredients. Highly recommended if you like sweet and spicy. Good value and stores well with the locking lid container.
