The Masato Chef Knife is a very good product, stylish and with a comfortable grip, it slices,dices and seemingly never needs to be sharpened. Excellent value for the price, comes in a nice box to store it in, just don't lend it to someone, you might not get it back, lol!

I bought this for my gf's daughter-in-law for Christmas and she gave it an excellent testimonial on sharpness... she sliced her finger drawing blood within the first minute of opening it. The turkey was its next task and it was so sharp, it even cut through the bones like butter. Traditionally, I buy her a certain scent of a high priced Yankee Candle, but switched it up this year. I informed her that she is back to candles next year for the sake of safety! I'm not knowledgeable regarding kitchen knives, but apparently, I did good with this selection. It would have been comical had she not injured herself checking how sharp it was. Hint: It is VERY sharp!

Matsato chef knife is very sharp, well-balanced, and comfortable to use. It cuts smoothly through meat, vegetables, and fruits. The handle feels solid and high-quality. For the price, this knife is excellent and looks premium. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

This knife seems to be good quality and shaped properly to be a very useful utility type kitchen utensil. The handle feels very sturdy and with the hole properly sized and placed should provide heavy cutting pressure done safely. The blade was sharp out of the box but it remains to be seen how it holds its edge. I am pleased with my purchase, thus far, and look forward to some heavy utility work with it in the future.

Love this knife. Cuts steaks like butter. You just have to get used to the curved blade. Don’t use it on delicate items unless you’re really good with knives because it’s really sharp and I almost cut my fingernail off with it. Ouch!
