This stuff is AMAZING!
I should have taken a photo of my dog's plaque blackened teeth before using the spray. But honestly, despite all the amazing reviews, I truly didn't think this stuff would work! And his breath oh my gosh, it was so disgusting we couldn't stand to have him sleep on our bed at night. We had taken our 7 year old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel to the vet for his checkup and booster shots. Upon inspecting his teeth, our vet wanted to schedule a teeth cleaning appt. His teeth were really bad, caked with plaque and the poor dog's gums were swollen and red. Our dog has never been one to chew on toys or bones, so it's no surprise his teeth had gotten bad. No wonder his breath was so bad., can't believe I hadn't noticed. Anyway, we told the vet we wanted first to try on our own to clean them up. As soon as we got home, I jumped on Amazon and began reading reviews on various products. Finding unbelievably great reviews on the Nylabone Advanced Oral Care, I ordered a bottle, as well as a bottle of another brand as a back up in case this one didn't work . When the Nylabone brand spray arrived, I immediately opened it and sprayed our pooches teeth. Instantly his bad breath was so much better. Not 100%, but tolerable. I checked his teeth before spraying last night (2nd night) and was shocked at how much better his teeth looked already! Seriously, his teeth had looked awful the night before. But, now I was seeing white on the bottom half of each tooth! So of course I sprayed them for the 2nd night. When I checked him tonight, once again, I was shocked at how very little plaque was left on his teeth - almost none now! His breath is back to normal already and there is only a thin line of plaque left right at the gum line. His gums are no lnger swollen or red! So, I went ahead and sprayed him for the 3rd night. I'd be surprised if I find any plaque left on his teeth in the a.m.! Will be keeping a bottle of this in hand and may try it on our cats too! Oh, the other brand I ordered came today. I have no need to use it, but will keep it just in case the Nylabone brand runs out and I don't have a backup. They're each basically the same ingredients, so it too should work. Very satisfied customers!

Better than anything else I’ve tried, sprayer stopped working
I’ve tried several products to help with my pup’s tartar but this is by far the BEST one yet. My dog hates having her teeth brushed (or her mouth opened at all) so it’s a struggle but after several uses I actually do see a slight improvement. As far as freshening her breath? Yes, it helps for a very short time right after spraying but unfortunately definitely doesn’t last long. I will continue to use this product and am happy I found it. Update: after a few uses the sprayer STOPPED working and just leaks/waste product if used.

A Must for Dog Dental Hygiene: Important Information
This has been part of my dogs' dental hygiene for years! Every day, after breakfast, I say, "Time for Teefers," and they all know... and cooperate! To garner cooperation, I train my dogs to allow me to examine and manage their teeth, to include scraping, chipping away build-up, and brushing as needed. Each dog is different in how long the training takes – patience is golden! Consistency of application is key to its success. Follow the instructions closely regarding use in relation to eating and drinking. I wait 30 min. after a meal or drinking water, and then no food/treat or water for 30 min. after application. I use this for a wide range of dogs in size and breed for many years, from puppies, to senior, as well as many rescues in horrible condition. Note that individual physiology plays an important role in whether build-up clears up, comes back, or happens at all. For rescues, previous abuse, poor diet, and unhygienic environment, all contribute to an animal’s ability to maintain good dental health throughout his life, even after rescue and all life factors improve or are corrected. In dogs with advanced dental plaque and decay, this product helps to keep the mouth stable, but will not remove heavy build up without veterinary dental intervention or conscientious pet owner scraping, chipping at the plaque and brushing. For dogs who have chronic health conditions or who are advanced in years and not candidates for procedures under anesthesia, this product will help to neutralize bacteria in their mouths. This in turn minimizes bacterial spread throughout the body, which can lead to many health issues, to include heart problems and/or failure. Without fail, using this product keeps my dogs' mouths clean, and either completely prevents or delays build-up. Well worth the minimal investment to prevent or defer trips to the vet for cleanings. I have used the foaming version as well, with no noticeable difference. This non-foaming spray is easier to apply and covers better than the foaming version. (As a side note, if you have a pet who needs to have a dental, or any medical procedure using anesthesia, PLEASE be sure to have the vet use IV fluid support before, during and after the procedure. Anesthesia is very taxing on the animal, esp. the kidneys. Your conscientiousness in this manner will prevent any secondary health issues related to organ trauma and/or failure, to include death, following any procedure under anesthesia.)

Spritzer Leaks Badly
Been using this every day for a couple of weeks and though it certainly makes my dog's breath smell fresher, I don't see it helping to reduce the plaque or tartar yet. I may need the actual tool for that. However, I'll update again once I finish this dental spray, which should be soon because every time I use it, areas all around the spritzer leaks badly all over my hand. There must be gaps where air can also get in, which hopefully isn't decreasing its effectiveness. Dog doesn't seem to have an aversion to the taste, which is good. At the very least, this acts like SCOPE for dogs. -UPDATE- Finished the bottle. I think it's really just a mouth freshener. But I won't be purchasing again because of the terrible leaking. Would rather go with another brand.

I have been using it for 2 weeks on my old dog and his breath still smells so did not work for us . Spray needs improvement as it tends to leak when using it . Personally I do not recommend this product . Disappointed as it says US made and it has China quality ;-(
