I bought a few cases because I wasn't really sure - I honestly prefer the phone with NO case (I want the slim, light, attractive thing that a bought - I don't want to cover it up!). This turned out to be a great option - the case is obviously visible, but so is the phone, so you still see that cool looking thing you paid for. The FRONT of the phone is covered, which is comforting when my toddler gets his hands on it. Judging by some recent beatings, I think it's very protective.There are 3 negatives (which, combined, are not enough to reduce the number of stars I'm willing to give): (1) It does create a weird tint or filmy look to the screen - not enough of a detractor because when the phone is actually ON it's not noticeable. That makes this a weird complaint but I wanted to mention it because I've read that in other reviews. (2) The edges are raised higher than the front of the phone. This is very good because it's very protective. For me, it makes typing a little more difficult. In fairness, I went from an iphone 6+ to an iphone 6, so I'm leaning to adjust anyway, but still.. if feels like it's a bit intrusive on my typing. (3) it traps dust. The case is so snug, I'm hesitant to take it off to clean, but I do see the pocket junk starting to accumulate, so I need to do it, I just haven't decided how...So that's it. Way better than I expected, fits my phone and my needs perfectly, and I'm returning the other cases I bought as backup.. enjoy.

I had a New Trent case for my iPhone 5s and was very satisfied with that over the years. I upgraded to the 6s and purchased this case and it is the same quality. I prefer a case that covers both front and back but I was not interested in a "waterproof" case. First off I don't believe they are actually waterproof and they take away too much functionality in covering up all the jacks, ports and speaker not to mention the price. I would not consider taking a $700 device like this underwater to take pictures. With this case you insert the phone in the front cover first and then you insert that in the back/side cover. I had a bit of a hard time getting the sides and corners to seal over but this gives me confidence that it's secure. I can hear calls and have been told I can be heard fine. I have a screen protector as well and it does take a bit of sensitivity away but not a hindrance. I can't get the plug for the head phone jack to insert flush and I don't understand why there isn't a flap covering the on/off switch similar to the one covering the lightening charge port. But those are minor quibbles and I am confident that this case will protect my phone from rain, spills and drops. A great case for the price.

I received a highly discounted case from New Trent in return for my unbiased and honest opinion and review. To start with, the case looks very nice. The option of the three colors is great, not only for the initial color, but to also be able to change it out later to another color. The screen protector ships with its own peel-off protection to keep it from getting scratched during transit. The directions on the box are pretty good and are all you should need to put the case on your phone.Installation:The inner case (the protective part) was shipped already assembled. It was a little difficult to get the pieces apart to start with, but after some persistence, I was able to separate them. I have to admit, I was a little afraid that I might break it due to the force I had to use. The key is to slide your finder between the two parts, and slowly (and carefully) move your finger around the perimeter of the case, separating it as you go. The screen protector part was also covered with a removable plastic protector on the inside as well as the outside. It's important to remember to remove the inner covering before putting the phone in. A cleaning wipe was included to clean the screen of your phone before inserting into the case. Once cleaned, the phone fit into the case like a glove. Getting the two halves snapped back together was a bit of a challenge in the same way getting it apart was. I had to slowly move around the perimeter of the case and press it together. Once it was together, the colored back plate went on without any problems. The port access covers don't seem to press closed as tightly as I'd like, and it takes some messing with them to get them to close as tightly as possible.Use:I think this case will provide great screen protection from scratches and scuffs, and good protection for the phone overall. The buttons on the case transfer pretty well to the phone, unlike some of the larger, maybe more protective cases out there where you have to press REALLY hard to get the button press to register. This was much easier. The slight difficulty in installation is probably necessary to provide a secure fit and to make sure the two halves won't separate on accident. I really like this case and think it will provide excellent protection for my iPhone. Unrelated to the case itself however, I would like to add that the box it was in was very difficult to open without a knife or scissors. The adhesive disk used to tape the box flap shut was very difficult to remove. I'm wondering if this is even necessary.
