Soothing & Barrier Support Serum, Redness-Reducing & Hydrating Solution for Skin Barrier Recovery

I have mild rosacea with redness and milia. I've tried compound prescriptions and layering OTC products with little to no effect, which often caused stinging. I patched tested The Ordinary Soothing & Barrier Support Serum with no negative reaction. I've been using this every night along with The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA for the past 3 weeks. The redness has diminished greatly and milia has even reduced. I don't wear makeup so my skin used to look very red during video conferences, and now my skin looks normal on camera. I still haven't experienced any stinging or discomfort, which is amazing. The serum goes on smooth and spreads easily. There is no noticeable fragrance. The pink color is weird and does show on the skin until it absorbs. It tacky feeling goes away once it absorbs after several minutes Overall I am very pleased with results. The price is great since it looks like one bottle will last 2+ months for me.

If your skin reacts easily to products or seems to be angry or even itchy & irritated- you need to try this serum. Less is more with this product. Use a few drops- just enough to spread around and absorb instantly. Any remaining residue will pill up later. Gross 🤢 It's really great to hydrate and soothe your skin, while also helping it to be more resilient and less sensitive overall. We have dry, windy winters and I use this under a good moisturizer to keep my face from being parched. I recently used this on my legs- I was traveling & had used a hotel soap and they were so dry and itchy that I couldn't sleep. The hotel lotion wasn't doing much so I decided to give this a try- it couldn't hurt right? They felt instantly cooled and soothed PLUS the stubborn crepey dryness that no lotion can seem to touch was noticably waaaay better!! I use it 2-3 times a week on my arms & legs in summertime & my skin feels plumped and when I follow up with lotion I have a nice glow. A little pricey for body use, but honestly not that bad and it actually works!

This is a miracle serum !! I have dealt with red , dry but oily skin. It’s blotchy and looks irritated with everything I’ve used. But this stuff in just three days has made such a big difference ! I use it morning and night with a light cleanser and my skin is healing and glowing !

It is the perfect addition to my simple skin routine and it’s just the right amount of everything that ACTUALLY helps. Not a bad scent if any at all, it’s a beautiful color not that that matters but it’s cute, and it melts into the skin nicely!

I use 5 different products by this company and decided to try this one. While, I like all the others, this one I love. I was amazed on how just the first application made my skin look and feel. It gave this smooth glass like surface. It made my pores look smaller (that is not even what is known for). You almost immediately know what has been missing, a healthy skin barrier. I use Peter Thomas Roth’s retinol and then The Ordinary’s Niacinamide serum. By using the Barriers support before the retinol eliminates dryness. I will be a faithful customer on this one!

Einfach super! Ich habe empfindliche Haut und vertrage die meisten Seren schlecht. Dieses Serum benutze ich abends in Kombination mit dem Copper Peptides Serum. Danach trage ich die Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ auf. Am Morgen ist meine Haut gut genährt und intensiv mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt. Beide Produkte habe ich bereits zweimal nachgekauft.

空けてびっくりピンクでした。でも、顔に色は付きません。敏感肌ですが、特にトラブルはありません。これからの季節の乾燥対策に期待します。

Its a good product but expensive

Love it, obviously the pink colour is cool lol 😆, but it's a fantastic skin barrier repair serum !. It's perfect for use after microneeding.
