Did exactly what it said it would and completely neutralised the salts in the walls that we could then easily paint over without the salt attracting more moisture
This worked wonders on our walls, we had rising damp and had injected the walls etc but when the new plaster was put on, a LOT of salt was drawn back through the plaster as it dried. We were absolutely mortified. After a quick search on the internet we found what we needed to do and it was this solution. This was by far the cheapest option and after using the same companies injection cream (and were also thoroughly impressed) we decided to go for it.Did exactly what it said it would and completely neutralised the salts in the walls that we could then easily paint over without the salt attracting more moisture.Warning this product does stink like hell and you need to follow the safety instructions! Smell goes once dried :)

Stinks!
I haven’t given this full stars only on the fact that I have got to wait and see if it works. I can tell you though that it is really easy to apply with a simple paint brush, but wow, does it smell! My eyes were streaming as I applied it. Make sure your room is well ventilated when using it. If it works as well as it smells, then it should be good!

MYSTERY DAMP PATCH SOLVED
I had a mystery damp patch, 5ft up an outside wall in a first floor bedroom. The wall paper was badly coloured and sopping wet to the touch, but would have good and bad days. Since this area is covered by the eaves of the house any leaking would be almost impossible. Having looked into delequescence and hygroscopic salts, I decided to give this a try.24 hours after application the patch was substantially drier, 72 hours later completely gone. It has dried out to such an extent that even the wallpaper has recovered and does not even require redecoration. Certainly £15 well spent.

Works a treat
This product worked very well for me. I re plastered a patch of less than a sqm internally that was exposed to rain water coming from the flat roof above. The leak was sorted for many months. The original plaster was hacked off (only a couple of mm) back to the cement render and after testing for any damp (covered the patch and sealed with polythene sheet for a week - damp meters do not reflect the humidity level if salts are present, and sure enough the meter showed it was damp). I thought that a bit of salt content would be ok after re plastering but after checking a few days, the efflorescence was incredibly high.I treated the patch with this product and after a week painted over. After a few months of the treatment being applied, the paint (emulsion matt) has not moved and no efflorescence to be seen. It has worked very well and for the cost would definitely recommend this product as a first point of call. One other option would have been to remove the render and apply some SBR to the brick or concrete block, re render with a waterproofer added or a salt inhibitor. All to the cost of the customer.
