Worst Water Storage Solution
Obviously, this isn't actually the "worst" water storage solution.Paper bag is a marginally worse idea. The Good:1. Easy to assemble. Contains one spigot, 2 washers, 2 silicon O-ring gaskets and a nut. Install o-rings and washers and tighten the nut, and you're done. If you do this correctly, you'll never have a leak at this juncture (but it'll have other leaks, see below)2. Sure looks nice sitting in your fridge (before you actually use it).3. "Est 1925" on the front of the glass instills confidence in the product. The Bad:1. Spigot handle is attached with a phillips screw that isn't locked down to the spigot body. It is leak proof at first, slowly loosens itself with use.2. It can't dispense the last 25% of the liquid, leaving about a quart trapped. The spigot inflow "pipe" is installed high enough that much of the water is trapped inside. Also, the pipe is way longer than needed, which means even if you take the unwieldy glass container out and tip it on its side, you don't get much more water out.3. Unhygienic: in order to even rinse this thing out, you need to dump out a quart of cold water. Sure, you can take off the lid and pour water out of its massive opening into your water bottle, but that's either tedious or messy. Conclusion:Poorly designed. Look elsewhere.

Nice product but easy to crack if you aren't careful on assembly
I use this for a fish bowl, and it works perfectly, BUT -- you must assemble it carefully. I broke the first one and ordered a second because I installed the faucet too tight and cracked the glass. After some internet research, I learned... tighten the nut on the faucet as tight as you can get by hand and then 1/4 turn more with a wrench. The faucet will be 'wiggleable' in the bowl but is installed correctly. If you tighten it too tight, you'll crack the glass. If you tighten it tight enough to be firm and pull on the faucet laterally, you'll crack the glass. So its not teenage kid proof, but for my application it works great and I am satisfied. It should come with better installation instructions explaining this issue.

You have to tip the container up to get the last inch of tea out of it.
It fits in the refrigerator very nicely. It looks good. The large cap makes it easy to fill when adding a large pot of tea. Easy to fill your glass or mug via theDispenser handle.

Holds 1 gallon but so compact!
I purchased this to keep my sanitizer water in the frig for daily drinking. I had another one but returned since it didn't hold enough. This one is wider than others but so short that it can fit in the more narrow lower shelves thus freeing up the top shelf. Some state that the spigot is too high. But not really. I was able to use it by tipping a bit when it got low. Don't need to fill it until it's about an inch from the bottom which I find quite acceptable.Others company that the spigot leaks. You have to tighten it more with a tool (which I wish they'd include like the last one I had) but you can't tighten it too much or the glad could crack. Gotta find that happy spot.Keep in mind that you cannot put his water in this! It will crack.

Wish I Hadn't Purchased It
I purchased this dispenser one (1) month ago but waited to write this review so I could see if any issues that developed over time. I purchased this glass dispenser for the fridge out of concern for drinking water stored before use in a plastic gallon bottle with microplastics. For those that complain about the small amount of water, sometimes just a trickle, that flows out the spout, you may have the lid on too tight. When I loosened the lid it created the vacuum that enables a much faster flow. My issue is with the collection of water under the outside base of the dispenser that soon spreads out onto the entire refrigerator shelf. I've consulted some glass specialists and they believe that there may be invisible cracks or flaws, microscopic pores or weak seams. Whatever the cause it isn't something I can fix and I paid way too much for an item that I expected to be defective free. When I first fill the dispenser it will stay dry on the underside for about 3 days and then the slow leaking becomes apparent on the glass shelf.

I like the size really well but...
It holds just over 2 pots of coffee BUT you can only get one pot of coffee's worth of liquid out of it because the spout is up too high. You have to take it out of the fridge and tip it to get the last 10 cups out.Great size and shape for the fridge, easy to clean by handwashing in the sink, easy to close or remove tge lid, no leaks from the spout, it's just designed with the spout too high up.
