Works fine as far as protecting the phone, but is too top heavy to actually use the phone while using kickstand (vertically) - the slightest brush of a finger knocks the phone over. If horizontal it's not as bad but still not all that stable. The base of the kickstand should be nearer the bottom edge of the phone and maybe a little longer or "deeper" as well so that it's harder to tip over. I know it's possible to make ones that work b/c the Verizon OEM ones do this just fine but are much more expensive, and when you need holsters for 200 employees cost becomes a consideration LOL. Get what you pay for I guess...Also the belt clips tend to break a lot at the hinge point. We've had OEM ones that lasted for years (this and Droid Turbo 2 models), but ten of these generic ones have broken at the hinge in the last month. They're usually under warranty so that helps but once you get past that 30-day window it gets harder...like I said though, guess you get what you (we) pay for...

product seems very reliable and fits the phone great. The only reason for four star rating was because my previous case of nearly identical design is easier to access the buttons. See photo old case on top of new case. Notice the old case is open at the crest of the corner and the new case wraps the corner edge. This slightly additional plastic makes the buttons much harder to access. Not sure why this manufacturer did this. The previous case did't break there (as you can see in my photo) and this little more open edge didn't cause any issues. If this manufacturer changed that it would be 5 stars.

Comfortable, easy to use, does what it is designed for - protects the phone from catastrophic breakage and keeps the screen scratch-free. The downside is that it has to be replaced on an annual basis because the thin section near the phone buttons finally breaks. Other things that could be improved: 1) if the kickstand is opened to its locked position once too often, it will break; 2) the length of the protective overhang at the top and bottom should be increased because the ends of the phone are not well protected against falls - mine is scratched at both ends from dropping it on the golf cart path while holstering it after inputting a hole score in my golf app.

And I don't mean that in a good way.In an attempt to provide that 'soft touch' feel so many of us like they wound up creating the slipperiest case I've ever had. Plain old plastic would have been grippier.But worse than that there is ZERO protection for either end of the phone when it's out of the holster-which is how I wanted to use it-and it's only slightly better when in due to the holster being a little bit longer than the phone. The kickstand is difficult to close, it's extremely fragile and must be forced over a 'nub' or little plastic 'bump' before it will sit flush in the case. Can't see this lasting very long.My search for a case with kickstand that can hold the phone vertically continues!

I'm hard on phones and cases. This one protected my screen well but the case cracked after a couple of weeks. I had it attached to my pants pocket and I hooked it on something at a restaurant. Now the clip part of the case lets the phone fall out by the pull of gravity. If I pick it up upsidedown my phone falls on the floor

This is a good case, I use it without the outer cover and it protects the phone. I have the Moto Z2 Force and it fits perfectly. I've had this case before and the plastic around the volume seems to break fairly easily. I'm hoping that this one will be better

I got this case for my new Moto Z play. I am hard on phones, and this case has protected better than any case I have ever had. Within the month, I dropped my phone down a staircase. It went all the way to the bottom. Fearing the worst, I retrieved my phone to find that sustained NO DAMAGE whatsoever. I was very impressed. I have had this phone and case for about 6-months with many drops and bangs. Still no damage to the phone. Highly recommended.

This product is advertised for the Moto Z Play Android. It is a "hair" too small. The phone keeps popping out of the case. Once the case relaxed enough that the phone stopped popping out, it will not slide into the holder.
