Excellent shaving cream. Lathers quickly. Performance is great; I have no complaints with glide, cushion, or residual slickness. The scent is sour-tart with a bit of apple-pie sweetness. The sweetness is not overwhelming and you won't feel like you're slathering food on your face. I'd say it's a spring-summer scent. The scent fades quickly and doesn't befoul your brush--it's there when you shave and not there when you're finished, which is just how I like it. Better yet, it's not the sort of scent I got tired of -- I used one tube and two tubs in a row and am still enjoying the scent.There seems to be a bit of a trend in Amazon reviews where people will say how long a consumable product lasts without explaining how they use it. Let me attempt to remedy that! This tub lasted me 8 weeks. I do a two-pass shave daily, face only, loading from the tub and face-lathering with a boar brush with a 20mm knot. I have no beard or mustache. I probably miss a day once every two or three weeks.My take: pricey but totally worth it. I'm moving on to the oud scent next now that the weather is finally cooling down.

Great quality and fragrance, I have been using this brand of shaving cream for over 10 years and this one is my favorite fragrance and texture, very creamy and soft. I highly recommend it.

I'm a woman, but most women's shaving creams are terrible. Razor burn, cheap containers, freaky scents. I usually buy mens unscented, but thought I would give this one a try (thank you Amazon prime day!). This one has a very faint, pleasant smell. It's a cream, so it won't foam up. But it leaves a very slippery film on your skin and works very well. Be careful: it leaves a slippery film everywhere, so if you're shaving in the shower, you need to rinse the floor very well or you'll land on your keister.

I am a die-hard sandalwood fan and my AOS is my favorite version. But everyone needs a change. I had the chance to take a whiff of the Bergamot and Neroli at a shop while I was biding my time waiting while my wife shopped over the holidays. Of the several I sampled, this scent stuck with me so when my sandalwood finally finished up, I went looking for it in the local shop only to be disappointed. I found it here on Amazon and purchased it. It does have a refreshing, but not perfume-like scent. If you like Earl Grey teas, you will know the unique scent of bergamot orange. Neroli is a bitter orange blossom oil common in perfume but it is not overpowering here and the overall scent is very pleasant. Aromatic citrus is the prime note, but not sweet or floral. As always, the AOS cream kicks up a luxurious foam when worked in a shaving bowl with a good brush. I am a daily shaver with a medium to heavy beard and one 5 Oz. AOS cream container lasts 4-5 months. You really need very little to generate sufficient lather. I use a Justice Shaving steel bowl and a Rocky Mountain 100% Best Badger brush to work the lather.

This shaving cream is very rich and thick. I’m a guy, but I’ll be honest, I feel a bit pampered and I’ve been told it smells phenomenal as well! The bergamot smells sooooo good! Great choice!
