This is the first time I have used this type of tool. So far so good

This is my first time trying wood turning on a lathe. My micro mini lathe is primarily made for metal work which I'm very familiar with but can perform small wood turning jobs as well. I had to practice a lot to get good at making a small finial for a clock. I was able to make one with the INOTECHOM 5-piece carbide tipped tools. After turning 15 of these finials using various hard woods, I got good at it and the tools remained very sharp. I would definitely recommend the produce to anyone starting out leaning how to turn wood on a lathe.

I am very happy with these tools. Sometimes a longer handle would be nice, But these are very sturdy, workable tools. I also like the thicker metal.

Not sure what's going on with Amazon these days. This is the second package in a row that arrived late! They had the schedule your delivery option so I picked the day, nothing was ever said or communicated to me about not getting it to me when promised. Lo and behold two days after my requested date, the item was delivered. Sadly it was a gift and I had already left town from my nephews graduation--giftless.Thanks amazon, for absolutely nothing.As far as the tools go, I looked them over, they seem nicely made. Understand that these are not full sized tools, instead they seem to be about ⅔ size.I'm keeping them for myself, I gave my nephew something else that I got later.Hope they work better than amazon shipping.
