Great resource for viewing shades of silk fabric. Well worth the money. It's a flip book that comes in a heavy paper box. The swatches are of an adequate size to get an idea of colors, compare to other fabrics, and how the sample reflects light.

Even though Chadmade promise to use premium fabrics, the mark-up is huge, driven more by admittedly telling you they use the "best" imported fabric than by functional value. As some sources note, part of the high cost comes from choice to custom made them rather than materially good craftsmanship!

I originally ordered some dupioni silk curtains from ChadMade - I couldn't figure out how to order a sample book, so picked what looked like the closest color to what I wanted. The company wrote to let me know that the color I had ordered would not be available for 4-6 weeks, and to ask if I would like a different color. The person was really helpful and allowed me to cancel the order and sent a link to this sample book. The samples arrived in about 3 days from China. The samples are a good size and we were able to remove them from the book and put them up on the walls to get a feel for how each color would look in the room. Very good customer service - will order from them again.
