screw your screw
great little screw, good packaging, comes with a bit, coated to last, color options & a good sealing washer to keep it dry inside your build, looks good to me. I'll be using these on my wood shed metal roof project, should be perfect.

Allkeen screws worked out fine
This purchase was used for PVC roof panels under a deck. The tool they include to chuck in your drill worked fine and was strong enough it may be around for a few more years. No issues with these screws or the rubber washers during my install. No breakage or problems with the self drilling tips.

Allkeen #10 x 1 Hex Head Sheet Metal Roof Screws – Reliable for Small Projects
I picked up this 60-piece pack of Allkeen #10 x 1 hex head screws for a shed roofing project, and they’ve been a solid choice for securing metal panels to wood framing. The self-drilling tips punched through my thin corrugated sheets and bit into the wood easily—no pre-drilling needed, which saved time. The included hex bit fits perfectly in my drill, and the 1-inch length was spot-on for my 1/2-inch plywood base, leaving a firm hold without poking through. The Rustpert coating is a big selling point—promising rust resistance up to 1000 hours in a salt spray test—and so far, they’ve held up well after a few rainy weeks. The gray finish blends decently with my galvanized panels, though it’s not an exact match. Each screw comes with a rubber washer that seals tightly against the metal, and I haven’t noticed any leaks around the fastening points. The 60-count plastic box is handy for storage, too.A couple of drawbacks: the screws struggled a bit with thicker metal (over 2mm, as warned), so they’re best for lighter roofing or siding jobs. Also, the rubber washers feel durable but compress a lot if you over-torque—dialing back my drill’s setting helped avoid that. Compared to some galvanized screws I’ve used, these feel tougher and better coated, though the smaller pack size means you’ll need more for bigger projects. For small-scale metal-to-wood fastening, these do the trick. I’d give them 4 stars—great quality for the price, but limited by their size and strength for heavy-duty tasks. Perfect for sheds or lean-tos, just plan your quantities!

Fixed roof leak in shed
My old shed roof was leaking and I didn't want to replace it. I simply replaced the screws in a few minutes and the leaks stopped.
