One word to describe this set WOW! This box set is everything you ever need for in writing. The appearance is just stunning, exquisite, the quality is just amazing, the performance not bad, very easy to use, a great gift idea for the person who is graduating, going to college, for the professional person you may know of. A perfect gift for the judge, a lawyer. For yourself. I would highly recommend this Quill Pen Set to anyone. The price isn't bad either.

Will 10000% buy again only issue is the wax bead bottles came broken but other than that is writes great and the colored inks are vibrant

This set came with a lot more than I expected for the cost. My ONE and ONLY qualm with the purchase is once you get past the basics (pens, inks, etc) there's no explanation of what anything is or how to use the stuff you might not have known you were getting.

This is a cute little gift set for someone who dabbles in calligraphy. This comes with absolutely no instructions so I do suggest giving it to someone who is at least familiar with how to look for tutorials on YouTube or maybe someone who's already taking a class that just needs something they can use that will provide them some all-in-one calligraphy capabilities.The first one I got had five or six broken pieces in it; these are not well packaged. I sent it back and got a replacement. The replacement didn't have anything broken in it, but when I opened the box everything was completely out of place and disheveled, it was just by sheer luck that nothing was broken. The quill pen has a very delicate end on it I was surprised it wasn't broken.If you are giving this as a gift, my suggestion would be to make sure you open the box before you give it to the person you're gifting it to to make sure that everything is secure and in one piece.This is not for professional calligraphers, however at this price point I think anyone who is a professional calligrapher or even an experienced letterer will know that this isn't a high quality set that they're gonna get thousands of hours of calligraphy practice from.This is a very attractive calligraphy set so if you need a calligraphy set for say staging or something that's just gonna look beautiful as part of some sort of booth or store; or something you can put up and not have to worry about getting damaged for room décor or something like that; this is a beautiful calligraphy set that will fill that niche relatively well.

This looked like it would have been a beautiful set if packaged correctly and complete. The feather was damaged the extra pen tips were missing and all the parts were out of the foam packaging slots. This might have been a returned set that was sent in error. I returned and might try again might not. Return was easy-
