These are the perfect length to tie down my backyard canvas 12 ft x 20 ft awning to the supporting steel frame. The 12-inch ties are long enough to simply slip through the grommets on the awning and then wrap around the steel frame. They pull tight and do not slip, ensuring a tight fit, keeping the awning taught. What is important is that they will never stretch, like a cotton rope, which I have used in the past, and will keep my awning taught, especially through heavy rains. I like the clear color, making the ties almost disappear, The quality was perfect, and the price is great for a quantity of 100. I would buy these again.
