This toilet seat is a surprisingly perfect replacement for my double-wide manufactured home from the early 90s. It fits well, installs easily, and feels solid. The best part? This is extremely slow, but you can forcefully push it down quicker so you don't have to wait for it. I had a Bemis seat that I replaced with this newer seat, I used the same old hardware that was already connected because it was the same for both seats. It was also a plastic seat that you had to twist the back cover to unlock and then lift it off. Compared to my old seat, this new one is sturdier. I do like this one much better! I love plastic seats because you can clean them with anything and not have paint rub off or stain the paint. I sit on the lid to put my socks on and the lid does not feel like I'm going to fall through it. To install this, you put the plastic nut and bolt in FIRST. There are small pieces of plastic toward the top of the bolt that make it an extremely tight fit. Give the bolt a wack until it is flush and then screw on the nut from the bottom. To make sure the nut/bolt is tight, you can get a screw driver and hold the bolt still while tightening the nut OR hold the nut still and use the screwdriver to tighten the bolt from the top turning clockwise (right). After the nut and bolt is connected and TIGHT, push the seat on top of the nut (with the cover open) It will snap into place. Then close the cover. Done. If installed correctly, the seat does not move at all. If yours does, tighten the nut and bolt better. I have seen people do this backwards, break the seat and then come and post pictures of the mess they created because they installed it WRONG and then gave 1 star for their stupidity... Yeah, that picture is in the listing too if you want to scroll through for a laugh.... Once this is published, I will add pics of what the seat looks like installed while the lid is up and the seat is down. For some reason, that angle was missed in the listing. I love easy to remove and clean plastic seats! They just lift off so you can clean any messes from bad sprayers.

This seat plastic is thinner than on more expensive seats, but is quite sturdy. The slow close feature is silent. Some might think it is too slow, but I had no problem with it. Mounting is easy. The biscuit color is a little darker than my American Standard white, but a lot closer than a white seat would be. Recommended.

My 2nd toilet cover. Super easy installation even for me. Like the "slow down" lid feature - no bang. However... Lid supports are relitavely flimsy. I purchased this one because of the slow-lid drop & I purchased 2 yrs ago. Must be a redesign because not the same. The supports under the slow drop lid are not very supportive & I feel will break (crack) over time.

What I like: Color match options, seat comfort, no seat or lid slamming down. What I don't like: nothing not to like!

I had always had wooden toilet seats, and am not sure I like the plastic version. The plastic is pretty thin and sticks to you when you sit. Also the measurement is slightly smaller than the toilet bowl. MEH

This toilet seat was a perfect match of the broken one I replaced on my Montana 5th wheel. Super simple to install and the seat is tight and secure. The soft close operation is quite slow so you know it won't slam on the toilet bowl. I highly recommend this toilet seat to any one looking for a replacement seat.

Bemis est une bonne marque pour les lunettes de toilettes, en général. Néanmoins ce modèle, tout en plastique , même les vis et la charnière, ne vaut pas le prix demandé.. Deuxième point, c'est ma faute, je n'ai pas fait attention: la distance de fixation sur la cuvette est fixe de 14 cm (standard anglais?). Et aucun jeu n'est permis, soit inutilisable pour des trous de fixation situés, dans mon cas, à 15,5 cm. Malheureusement j'ai essaye de la monter plus d'un mois après réception, soit pas de retour possible.

How and where do I return this useless item? There should been an adapter to fit my pan.Stuck with a £50.00 useless item.
