The size of the pods are similar to any other pod except they're not pressed full and hard which is good because that means they dissolve and don't just get clumpy and stick to your clothes. Minimal plastic content in the packaging and i don't think the pod has any plastic either. The oak smell is beautiful and not too strong. Smells like a light men's cologne. Smells and feels clean to me and I don't like fragrances or strong laundry smells but wanted a little something. My favorite and I don't do toxins or fragrances. Also, side note: I gave a hug to a backup singer in Chris Tomlin's band and I knew the oak scent was his laundry soap. ;)

I picked up this laundry "soap" because I'm looking to get rid of the plastic bottle (although I think this has plastic in the bag - I need to call and find out). At any rate, I am allergic to everything. - really really allergic. I bought the one called Rain because it is unscented. (and it really is). I cannot believe how well this performs! It got some stains out that I thought were in there for good! Not even one problem with my skin. The one downside is that the soap does not dissolve always. You have to let the tub fill with water and put the soap in and wait to see if it will dissolve - this is tedious to me. If I don't do that, I wind up with soap clods, wondering if I need to run the load again (wasting water and electricity). So I really hope they clean up the plastic in the bag issue because I like this product! However, it is costing more money than it did when it first came out. Somehow, I think the price has almost doubled since my first order (this is my third order). I will be looking around for something new, as I live on a tiny budget. Otherwise, I give this laundry soap an enthusiastic two thumbs up.

The box was in perfect shape but the pods inside the bags had little holes in about half of them. I love the detergent so will deal with the mess, but is is not easy to use leaking pods so minus 1 star. The last time I ordered I bought the single bag and they were in great condition. Great for my kiddo’s sensitive skin though and cheaper than some other options, so still worth it for me I guess.

These work pretty well. I use two for the smellier loads. I'm most of the way through my first bag. I have a Whirlpool front load washer. I have a water softener because I live in a _really_ hard water area. I've used them with quick wash, cold wash, normal, and sanitize. I put the pods under the clothes as suggested. I've never noticed any residue that others have mentioned. I can't stand perfumes in my clothes and these are great from that perspective. I'm hoping the next package update has no plastic. I might not have bought these if I realized they came in a plastic pouch and I will likely try another brand to get away from the plastic.

I was having a hard time getting gym clothes to not smell like a dogs farts after the wash. I would have to wash all polyester items separately and in HOT water and add all kinds of additives. I have gone through 2 bags (I have a big family) of these now and I no longer have to add extra smell goods to my wash, my clothes' are actually clean. The only issue is the detergent & bleach pods look alike, so be careful and be sure to label if you put them in pretty jars on display in your laundry room, my husband made this mistake with all my pink/red clothes.
