I needed a safety gate and extension to stop my dogs getting into a large bay window and destroying yet more window dressings, barking, marking up the windows etc!I purchased the dreambaby gate and this extension for £56 (which was a lot less than other things I could have used because the window space was 181cm wide). They both arrived within a couple of days and were well packed.The extension was easy to fit to the gate. The window frames were at an angle but once I screwed the cups into the wood, the gate and extension remained stable and I now have a nice clean window. And a lot less barking when there is anything moving outside, which is heaven! The gate and extension are strong enough to take the dogs leaning on them so I am very happy indeed.

Purchased to extend matching baby gate as my daughter moved so cheaper to buy this than a wider gate. Attached in seconds and looks great. Would recommend.

Really good gate, looks nice and fits securely to plasterboard walls. Once open can be put in an a position so the gate stays open which is useful if you don't want to block the room off. Gate opens both ways. Very pleased with this purchase. Toddler unable to open the gate, which is why I bought a gate. Extension pieces fit snuggly.

needed an extention for the space between my kitcen and living room and so far its been sturdy, durable and I love the fact that it opens two ways and self closes. spent quite a bit for this and the complimentary baby gate compared to the smaller baby gates but fair compared to other baby gates of a similar size. very happy with my purchase

Great love this gate I have purchased many gates over the years and the dreambaby gate is fantastic this was purchased as an extention I thought it would make the gate unstable but this is not the case it extends the gate but remains firm I had it for out dog who frequently jumps up it and it doesnt budge and the gate closes itself which is a great feature love it!

I ordered an 18cm gate extension for the Liberty Gate I have. When I ordered in July 2018 the Safetot website advertises a "Dreambaby 18cm Gate Extension". I was aware that there are two types of gates Liberty and Chelsea, but the advert did not state it was only suitable for one or the other - so I figured it would work. It arrived as the Chelsea extension and unfortunately didn't work. A bit galled as well as I have to pay for the postage back and on checking the site just now (5 Aug 2018) despite reporting this on the site, the information has still not been amended to make this clear. SO BEWARE: check with with them BEFORE you purchase or easier still just order from a company who gives you the option of a Liberty or Chelsea extension in the first place. Which I what I had to do in the end. As far as the product itself goes: good quality. we had to extend on two sides and obviously not as strong as a single gate when rattled by a growing child but holding out so far.

Very easy to install and makes our gate fit a wide gap perfectly when used with wide hallway gate. We have steps down onto a tiled floor into our kitchen and this allows our toddler grandaughter to play safely in full view on the other side of the archway while we are in the kitchen.

We ordered the wrong size and seller was brilliant at letting us return and reorder, refunding us promptly for the misordered item.The gate is perfect and does exactly what we needed.

I liked everything about the gate’s construction, looks and integrity and it fits our large opening perfectly. The only thing is the plastic button latch opening seems flimsy and I am worried it will fail. We will see. I love that the gate can stay open to carry things through and it swings both ways! Our dog is fully contained away from the front door and it gives us such peace of mind. Thank you Dreambaby!

Needs a support piece. The extension works but is a bit wobbly

Needed to crest a gate wide enough to put on a patio with an open end for our golden retriever. We bought this extension so it would fit securely with the Dreambaby gate we already have. It was perfect. Very secure just by using the pressure and is not have do a hard install. This is an apartment patio so it needed to be something temporary. Perfect and secure! Easy access through the gate and out of the patio.
