We’ve always had a problem with our cats getting hungry during the day when everyone is at work. With this pet food dispenser, our cats are always satisfied and happy. Also we trialled it by using it when we went on a 8 day holiday. Our daughter came over to our house if needed. She did have to come over once or twice to get rid of dead mice that our cats have caught and brought back home. Apart from that though, she never really had to sort out anything to do with the cat feeder. It just worked perfectly. Monitoring cat feeding patterns and amount of food was made easy with the camera on this feeder - crystal clear images by the way. It was also so easy to talk to our cats from the app even when we were far away, and to dispense extra food if they seemed very hungry. Easy to set up and make changes to feeding schedules. Only thing I’d say didn’t perform as expected was the AI function on the app which claims to be able to stop the cat feeder from dispensing food if the camera detects there is still a decent amount of food in the bowl. I tried it for a day or two and it was complete useless. Continued to dispense food even when the bowl was quite full. So yeah, that was a very gimmicky feature which didn’t really work. The good thing was that once I learnt the cat feeding patterns and amounts after observing the cats on the camera for 2 days, I managed to tweak the feeding schedule and amounts to minimise excessive food being dispensed to them. It’s all a learning curve. I’m also happy that my cats didn’t need a lot of training to take to the dispenser. After the first 2 times where we dispensed food in the bowl and guided the cats to the bowl to eat, they quickly learnt to come check on the bowl whenever they got hungry. It was a bit of a big expense buying this contraption, but not something I regret. This makes feeding cats so much easier and actually helps us get to know our cats’ behaviour much better. Before we had this, I never knew for example that our cats would often come to the bowl at 3 or 5 am in the morning to look for some food to eat. Love the automatic VLOG maker as well - so cute to see the created cat videos from the entire day’s footage. You get one week free subscription to PETKIT and then after that you can decide whether to pay. I went one day without after the free trial ended, and decided to pay for a year’s subscription to the Basic plan because I missed viewing the recordings of all my cats’ visits and mealtimes on the app. It’s only £19.99 a year if paying for a year all at once. Whereas a monthly subscription is like £3.99 or something, which is not good value, so I paid for the entire year at £19.99. I love this product from PETKIT so much, seeing how well the app works with the device, that I’m thinking of buying the PETKIT EVERSWEET MAX water fountain too, which I can pair with the same app, making monitoring my cats’ drinking habits much easier and also encouraging my cats to drink more water.

Okay so here are my initial thoughts after using it for a week. 1. Super easy to set up. Took no longer than 5 mins from unboxing to fully set up. 2. Portion sizes are spot on and I like that you can adjust the amount. 3. The app is really intuitive and I love the features such as the before and after snap shot of the dish to see how much your cat has eaten. 4. Camera quality and sound quality is amazing! 5. The pet detection tool is great and it’s nice to see what my cat is up to. (I can also keep an eye on her water intake using this) 6. The feeding plan makes it super simple to just top up with kibble and forget about it. 7. The auto vlogs are cute. Only downside I can see at the moment is that the food does pile up a little. If the bowl placement was designed with a bit more of a slant this might help. However I should add that this hasn’t caused any issues with dispensing food. Also this only happens if your pet hasn’t eaten all the food. Overall this is amazing. I’m using it as I need to go away for a week. So will update further once I’m back.

Fantastic cat feeder which gives me peace of mind whilst I’m working late. Helps me set a routine and always be on time (great for ADHD!) for feeding my cat. So amazing to be able to check in on the live camera and see my sweet cat - I’ve never felt more reassured! The size is big enough to hold plenty of dried food, but doesn’t take up too much space in the hall. It plugs into the wall (has a long enough cable). Super sturdy - my cat has broken into things in the past but this is safe! I compared so many automatic pet feeders before deciding on this one but I feel I made the right choice - it’s reliable and also looks good. The height of the camera is fab - some similar systems don’t catch enough of the bowl and face but this is brilliant. I was worried about the app as I knew I didn’t want to pay for a premium service but the free version is fine - you can see your pet live in great quality, and you still get a still image when they appear, which is plenty to reassure me. I sometimes work long hours and can check on my kitty when I’m not home. Definitely recommend!

Reemplacé los comederos individuales no automáticos que tenía por este. Su tamaño de almacenaje y su doble caja lo hacen ideal para guardar y dispensar el pienso sin que se humedezca. Estoy cambiando el pienso de mis gatitos ahora mismo y la doble tolva es ideal para introducir y mezclar los dos. La APP funciona muy bien y es fácil e intuitiva. Notifica cada vez que van a comer aunque como alguien dice por allí no sabes cual gatito ha ido si tienes mas de uno. Es práctica la zona transparente para ver cuanto tiene cada tolva. Es muy fácil de limpiar y todos sus materiales son de buena calidad y bonitos a la vista. Un diez.

Excellent produit ! Finition très bonnes, contenance équivalente à 1,75 kg de croquettes pour chats adultes. L'application est bien pensée... Tous les propriétaires de 2 chats ou plus devraient essayer ce produit !!

EDITO: Esta review es para el modelo mini de este artículo. El modelo grande no lo he probado. En mi caso, funciona a la perfección desde el primer dia, llevo ya un año con el. El primer día mi gato lo rechazo un poco pero ayudandole a confiar en la máquina en un par de días ya se rascaba para que le saliese comida. La aplicación es muy fácil de configurar y está bastante bien traducida. Se configura cada una de las dosis diarias indicando la hora y los gramos, además de poder darle de comer manualmente (se puede también cancelar una toma especifica). Se puede compartir con otras personas de la casa para que puedan ver la programación diaria de comidas etc. La aplicación te notifica en cada toma y también cuando toca rellenar el silo o cambiar la bolsita anti-humedad (detalle muy importante por cierto, ya que la comida se mantiene seca y crujiente). También tiene un botón para darle de comer manualmente, que se puede desactivar por si tu gato/perro es un poco pillo y aprende a darle :) El sistema te hace un cálculo dependiendo del peso de tu gato y la comida que le des (intruduciendo la marca y el tipo de pienso concreto, edad y peso de tu gato y si quieres mantener su peso, adelgazar o engordar). En el caso de mi gata (que pesa aprox 4,5 kilos) y mi pienso concreto (royal canin para gatos adultos esterilizados) me dice que debo administrarle unos 60-65gr diarios. Es una cantidad correcta para mantener su peso ideal para un gato que vive dentro de casa, justo la cantidad que me indica mi veterinaria. Después de varias pruebas pesando las raciones con una báscula de precision, para este pienso tengo que configurarle 3 raciones de 25gr cada una, ya que sale aprox un 10-20% menos de lo que dice, esto es, para una configuración de 20 gramos por ración, salen 18gr, con 25gr salen aprox 20-21gr. (es la única pega que le veo, pero es fácil de ajustar probando varias veces, bueno, eso y que las medidas no estén en sistema internacional ya que están en onzas...). El volumen total de almacenaje en el silo es entre 1,3-1,5kg. En mi caso con tomas de 60gr al día, la máquina se empieza a quejar por falta de comida a las 65 tomas más o menos (22 días desde rellenarlo a tope), pero todavía quedan unas 3 dosis. (23 días * 60gr/día = 1380gr de mi pienso). Si el pienso que usas tiene croquetas más grandes seguramente tendrás menos dosis por llenado y viceversa, con croquetas más pequeñas más dosis. El diseño del sistema es muy bueno en comparación a otros comederos automático que he usado. En mi caso al menos no se ha atascado ni una vez. El silo tiene forma de embudo, de tal forma que todas las croquetillas van bajando al centro de forma simultánea y gradual. En la parte baja del silo hay una especie de helice flexible que empuja las croquetas hacia una dispensador en forma de disco, que contiene pequeños receptáculos cada uno con una capacidad de 5gr, por lo que graduar cada ración es muy fácil (siempre en múltiplos de 5). La salida de la comida es silenciosa, apenas escuchas nada salvo las croquetas caer (bueno, mi gata es capaz de escuchar la tapita al abrirse estando dormida a 3 habitaciones de distancia, pero es por su infalible oido gatuno). Para la limpieza, tanto la bandeja donde cae la comida como el silo son extraibles. La bandeja se sujeta con unos imanes muy fuertes por lo que ponerlo y quitarlo es muy muy fácil y agradable. Después de un año de uso puedo decir que la base del comedero se ha empezado a desgastar un poco justo donde caen las croquetas. En cuando al sistema de contingencias, se le pueden colocar unas pilas alcalinas que solo usará en caso de que se vaya la luz. Además, la programación diaria de tomas se guarda en la propia máquina, por lo que si pierde la conexión a wifi y/o se va internet en casa y/o se va la luz, la comida seguirá saliendo. En mi caso tampoco se ha desconectado nunca de la wifi salvo en alguna ocasión puntual en la que restaurando la conexión ha vuelto a funcionar con normalidad. Un 9/10 por ahora (no le pongo un 10 por cuatro chorradas), ojalá esta marcá siga creciendo y saquen al mercado productos tan buenos como este para el arenero etc. Pros: Muy bonito Robusto en cuanto a piezas Buenos acabados Sistema fiable y con contingencias incluidas Aplicación decente Contras: Quizás debería avisar de falta de comida un poco antes El cálculo de cantidad de comida no es lo exacto que debería ser, pero es fácil de compensar Para gatos grandes o perros compraría el modelo grande, con un depósito de mayor capacidad

Il prodotto è fantastico!!! Fatto molto bene, elegante, telecamera che ti da la possibilità di monitorare il gatto o i gatti, gestire da remoto il cibo ecc. presa dopo la lettiera sempre della stessa marca gestibile via wi fi da remoto e funziona molto bene. Unica pecca che per avere la gestione con immagini da remoto bisogna pagare una decina di euro al mese e non é poco…per di più io l’ho scoperto arrivato a casa. Attenzione perché c’è un modello identico ma senza telecamera, costa leggermente meno ma non ha questo accessorio.
